[/floatl]Miyuki Kanbe, star of Sailor Moon musicals, has died at the age of 24 according to a statement from her agent. Last year, she was scheduled to appear in the Japanese version of Les Miserables but had to pull out because of health problems which plagued her until she passed away last week in a Kawasaki hospital. A private funeral was held on Saturday. She was the third actress to appear on stage as Sailor Moon in the Bandai musicals, taking the part in 2000 before going on to other work including film and television roles.
