This is Takaharu Kawada robbing a convenience store back in February which netted him nearly 320,000 yen. He has now been arrested for an attempt on another store and the reason for his animal mask has become a little clearer. He says he has been carrying out the robberies to get money to look after his pets including two dogs, five cats, five turtles, two snakes and numerous tropical fish.
