Foreign Skin Cream Busted For Drugs

Postby Mulboyne » Wed Jul 16, 2008 7:58 pm

[floatl]Image[/floatl]The Asahi reports (Japanese) that sales of an imported skin cream have been suspended following tests which appear to show that it contains steroids in contravention of regulations governing such products. Noato Cream is described on one US site selling it as "made with pure Herbal extracts, so don't worry about any side effects. No steroids added" and appears to have sold briskly in Japan on word-of-mouth reputation: the Tokyo-based distributor claims to have shipped 5,691 jars over the last four months. It is primarily for people with skin allergies such as eczema and is available over-the-counter as well as by mail-order. In one report, a mother went to her local clinic saying that her daughter's complexion had developed white spots after using the cream for an extended period. Tests indicate that the cream contains clobetasol propionate, which is often used in such treatments but can have a number of side effects. In particular, local health centres are telling people that long term use can damage skin and are recommending that anyone who has done so should consult a dermatologist.

I happen to have a foreign facial cream that is 100% guaranteed to be all natural.

It might give you a rash though.
Mr Kobayashi: First, I experienced a sort of overpowering feeling whenever I was in the room with foreigners, not to mention a powerful body odor coming from them. I don't know whether it was a sweat from the heat or a cold sweat, but I remember I was sweating whenever they were around.
