"Please refrain from drunken behavior."

I dunno ... somehow I can't see how this'll work.
Drunks (in the sloppy-drunk salaryman sense) are incapable of making that distinction, right? I thought that was one of the characteristics of being drunk. Sort of like telling a bear not to shit in the forest.

What we need around here is PROHIBITION  ... but only for people who have been proven incapable of holding their booze ... which eliminates about two thirds of the j-workforce.

I'll drink to that.

I need more drunk salarimen.....as a complete luuzer, I have one hobby other than chasing XX individuals and those who resemble them (fooled again)...that hobby is taking pix of wrecked and derailed salarimen. Amassed a decent array of wastoids, splashed all over the seats of trains, the floors of stations, and crashed out on the stairs to my building. I love these fucks. Eventually, I should have a photo expo entitled "Hail the Drunken Samurai of the Chrysanthenum"....and I will spam the fuck out of FG regarding it.

I am starting to branch out into photoing drunk gaijin passed out, so you all have been warned.

Iraira, please post some.

I'll get on it tomorrow, if that's ok with you all. Gf is making me put her Eiken Level 2 CDs on her Ipod (which I won at a nijikai...how it happens to be hers now, I don't quite understand), then I have to move the pics from my cell phone to the computer, upload them to FG, etc, etc etc...
Then I gotta bite the pulsating warts off of mom's back and give dad a cafe mocha high colonic.

Japanese commuters told to be courteous as standards fall
Telegraph.co.uk - By Julian Ryall in Tokyo - 9:42PM GMT 06 Dec 2008
Five years ago, it would have been unthinkable for passengers on Japan's crowded trains to witness a female office worker applying make-up on her way to work. But now, grooming in public is commonplace. For some, such behaviour reflects the fact that the politeness and courtesy that was a trademark of Japanese society are fading fast.
Standards are falling so rapidly that Japan Railways has just launched a poster campaign urging women to "Please do it at home" – put their make-up on, that is.
"I would have to say that levels of inconsideration have accelerated in the last five years or so," said Toshiko Marks, a professor of multicultural understanding at Shumei University. "I first saw a young woman applying her make-up on a train about five years ago but now it is an everyday sight," she said. "I even see people on trains eating food that has a strong smell, such as noodles, which means everyone has to put up with it."...

Coffee!

I love coffee, but I don't want to smell someone else's Starbucks swill on the train.

Same goes for MacDonalds.

Blech ...

Hey, I've just noticed something unusual about these posters.

None of the inconsiderate, anti-social perpetrators are depicted with blond hair and big noses or dark skin!

Someone is going to get the sack for this! ;)
