And here in Japan she gets Takechanpoo hiding behind a lamppost taking photos of her with his keitai. An interesting study in comparative culture.

So construction workers and Puerta Ricans don't do catcalls in Manhattan anymore? Twenty years ago they sure as hell did. Man, New York really has jumped the shark.

manhattan has been "cleaned up". Sure the cat calls can still be heard in some of the parks but on the streets these days it seems like the only people who still do it are iron workers. (nancy is hot spray painted on beams of unfinished buildings)

I know that the City hasn't been New York City for a long time, but when contruction workers no longer commit blatant acts of sekuhara on random women you really know the place has gone to shit. The City, you are greatly missed. Rest in peace.

Hey, wait a minute, last time I checked, I was pretty much genuine, original and unique - and I haven't been beaten or robbed in like, AGES!
But, I guess that's because I'm an OLD NYer...

And yeah, the PR boys here still go Eeh, Mami!, and do those lip-smack sounds, which, at my advanced years, is cool with me...

BTW, WTF is a plastic Paddy??

I'm talking about the post Ruddy bubble-era transplants that think they're so bad ass because they live in The City and can't have a conversation without mentioning that fact.

A plastic Paddy is one of those Irish Americans that thinks he's so fucking Irish. People in Ireland think they're ridiculous and call them plastic Paddies.
