At least he was tidy about it. He kept it in the frig until he was ready to eat...

From the wikipedia article on Sagawa Issei:

Not to cause outrage, he was first taken to Matsuzawa hospital, where upon examination psychologists all found him sane but '"evil"[1].

I guess it is possible to be both sane and evil, but it seems to be a distinction without a difference...

Ahhh there was some gaijin dude and his gaijin son on the train between Fujieda and Shizuoka the other night silently blowing up baloons and tying them into funny shapes before doling them out to the commuters.

Wish I'd had my camera on me...

Don't worry - they've been arrested.

They won't be disturbing the "wa" again, with their balloon animals, anytime soon.

Staged---fake cop

American cops don't use those old-school straight stick clubs for daily patrols (everybody uses side-handle batons or collapsible batons) and they certainly don't lay them on top of their fries.

That's for sure. Can't eat them like that, batons go underneath the fries.

American police haven't eaten Big Macs from styrofoam containers since the late 1980s, even though styrofoam keeps them hot and fresh.

According to my exhaustive research, I think this issue was published in September of 1980. At the top it says it is issue 44. Issue 45 was published on October 25, 1980
