Listen, there is nothing wrong with deporting illegal aliens. Particularly those involved in crime prone industries. Just because America has turned a blind eye at its illegal immigrant problems, this doesn't mean that Japan should do the same thing. Frankly, had the US been more proactive we could have avoided 9/11, we could have hospitals with emergency rooms that aren't full of illegal immigrants getting free treatment for mundane problems, state taxpayers wouldn't be funding the education of the children of illegal aliens, etc., etc.

Illegal means something folks. Means they broke the law to get there. I have an idea. Let's just throw the borders completely open. Good idea.

Living in NYC, I am glad the US has pulled in the high risk foreigners for questioning. All males from a certain age have had to report to INS (if they are from certain countries that have been linked to terrorism). As a citizen I applaud this. If I were a citizen of Japan I would also applaud if non-citizens who were causing trouble also were being checked. The US does this. Japan can't?

imho, there should be some kind of walk in process, or something i dont know, where your info is checked, and if youre legal, kewl, thats on record, but if you get pulled up, or busted in one of those mass searches, your ass is out of the country..

i wouldnt mind so much, as the govt turns a blind eye to all the construction workers/ sex workers / radiation plant workers who are here illegally, but if some poor bastard who loves the country and pays tax , and behaves himself or stays a bit over on his visa gets stopped they want to throw him out?
