good to know someone out there is propagating the sterotype and lending credence to the overall perception of foreigners here..

Or did someone else steal them, and you were merely on your way to take them back to their rightful owners?

You're not helping, fatslug.

I'm going to go with "or what" and select "stupid" from the list of options.

I haven't been stopped by the police just yet. I saw 2 policemen yesterday for the first time in Japan. (I've only been here for a few days though)

Althought they did look like they were going to say something, eventually they didn't do anything and walked passed us.

But I think we'll get hold up by a policemen in the near future. It would be cool though to experience it atleast once.

Interesting that next to the FG posters names they are also listing Age, Location, Ethnicity etc...

How about this: http://shirouto.seesaa.net/pages/user/m/article?article_id=136670861&page=1&stq=session%3A%3Ablog%3A%3A6db90adc70ae2d6ac6ef75756ef40f19

If not, they're probably just one more of the many Japanese websites to have IP banned you.

I haven't studied the translations closely, but I don't think it'd require much effort to tidy up the 'googlese'

I sort of wish they hadn't bothered with translating the 'Worst Prefecture' thread. That entire thread was Dog's ardent attempt to slag Japan by taklking about all sorts of places that I am sure he hadn't ever visited.

Many of the stops for me were not too long after I got here, mostly in my home station and the Ikebukuro/Shibuya station areas. As to the why's answers range from "it's late(11:30pm)" to "just checking". After they see I'm on a spousal visa and it's current they shoo me away even if I ask if I was a suspect for some crime and a reason for the stop. I don't get stopped too often anymore since I know places and times to avoid putting myself into. If you want to hear specific instances in detail I could PM you because I'd rather not rage in public.
