The advent of YouTube has certainly made one thing apparent: some people will go out of their way to make complete asses of themselves.

I think you mean "art" (note the quotation marks)... guys like this are trying too hard to be "arty" and "different" but it just ends up feeling false.

But looking at the video, it seemed to be a photo shoot. A set of stills for a character/cosplay scenario would make more sense for this costume. The video was just too tryhard, wannabe, look-at-me-aren't-I-unique.

That's what I thought it was too GG: A video taken during a photo shoot.

And that's what I based my comment on. A series of still images in my mind.

That being said though, there are other videos out there I've seen now so maybe he videotapes all his photo shoots which to me is indeed trying too hard and over the top creepy because there is no dialogue

Stills I could understand (nice observation GG). But the guy doesn't move well and just looks awkward and klutzy.

If he posted the video himself I can only assume that he thinks it's pretty cool, which just makes it worse.

In its posted form this video doesn't trigger my "art" response at all.
