No Prosecution For US Woman in Iwakuni

A 32 year old American woman last month ran over and killed a 66 year old man in Iwakuni. She works on the US base there and was on duty, which gives the US side priority in handling the matter. Local police had arrested her for negligent homicide and sent papers to the prosecutors. However, the local prosecutors office has now announced it will not be going ahead with the case.
