....now that you've pointed it out, this bloke must have tried to run away some time: I noticed he's also been given the Kunte Kinte treatment. Why? Aren't you technically a "foreign object"? It seems to suggest that Japanese should do their best to remain in a relationship with a foreigner, whilst the foreigner is free to party, have affairs, etc. Maybe I'm reading between the lines again.
