Student Visa For 6 Months?

Postby Pochi » Sun Nov 07, 2010 12:49 pm

Greetings,

Is it possible to have a Student Visa for Japan for 6 months, or at least with a 6 months bank statement that contains minimum money to last for 6 months there (around 1 million yen?)?

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has a useful web site with lots of information about visas in Japan.

You can see on this page that there is a 6-month pre-college visa, which seems to be the right visa if you are studying Japanese. Based on your other thread, it looks like that is what you are trying to do.

6 months yeah because of my limited cash flow on bank that I couldn't do a 1 year on statement.

But good to know there's some schools that provides 6 months course and the student visa can be for 6 months.

Now I am relieved.

Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart. :)
