Country side in Okinawa:

http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=26.339884,127.960682&spn=0.055844,0.288391&z=13&layer=c&cbll=26.339989,127.960602&panoid=LT1tThSt7o8KnP23aDPT_A&cbp=12,49.95,,0,-7.16

don't look like houses, if you follow the road up ahead they're building more of those. Behind is a normal looking house (with a regular roof)

http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=26.340038,127.960682&spn=0.055843,0.288391&z=13&layer=c&cbll=26.340244,127.96&panoid=E0EaovxKEUq8rSNYYm05dw&cbp=12,2.75,,0,-2.61

Looks almost like an appartment complex but no windows or doors and made from concrete from top to bottom.

Seen something similar in Barcelona (Spain for those who are retarded)

Lack of land made them build tombs into the side of the mountain. Pretty cool actually.

Koreans have the same sort only most of them are domed in dirt. I'm told that they bury the deceased in a seated position, hence the dome. The dome also furnishes the turtle appearance, hence the name Kame.
