[/floatr]A school in Fukuoka claims that students perform better when given the opportunity to take a 15 minute nap during the day. A chime sounds at 11:50am and all students are asked to put their head down. The lights are dimmed, the blinds are drawn, and Mozart is played over the speakers. The schools says students are better able to concentrate in the afternoon and exam results have improved since they introduced the break in 2005. They also claim that their students are healthier as a result as trips to the school infirmary have dropped by around 35%.
