My advice to those coming to Tokyo

This Tokyo Joke wanker appears to be yet another GP reject.

Him and this wanker are on each other's YouTube subscriber list, and they are both on this site (it's not really a web site, just an accumulation of crap).
(A recent poster refers to Tokyo Joke by his GP user name.) I would surmise that both wankers are one and the same. One makes wanker videos with a fake Chinese accent (doesn't get much more tasteless than that), and the other is with a US drawl and lousy sound, presumably to disguise his voice.

Tokyo Joke, about time you "gain the wisdom" as you liked to say in your former GP persona, and beat it.

It appears someone went to great lengths to make these crappy videos and homepages. And, somehow for someone who is supposed to have been in Japan (and on the Internets) for a long time, he is under the mistaken impression that the majority of posters on this board are English teachers. It's all very strange really.

Well friends, Tokyo Joe has got a lot of love for you all, but if I had to guess I would say that it would be a weird aggressive person like you Mr Big in Japan who would do something as kooky as that character does. Nope, that guy sounds like he's about your age too and I can probably guess who you are just by reading your posts because I know Tokyo and I've seen all kinds of gaijins. And yes, I am a member of the Tokyo Forum at Sleep New York which is a great forum and seems to get a lot of uniques, they allow for an easy to post format and everyone is seems welcome, and and they do a mighty fine job of comparing the cities of the world, including my favorite, Tokyo. But just because you didn't create it and it gets more followers/unique visits/traffic and great posts than your twitter or facebook page, you have to criticize it. Why friend? It's a community and I'm just a small part of it all.

But I can kinda understand your jealousy or fear or what not, and I understand from your other posts you don't want any other sites other than your own and your alter ego getting the publicity, so please Sir, don't be so judgmental and facile about it. But that character of yours sure is funny and very clever how did you get the mouth and eyes moving like that? I want that!!! - so clever, why else would you even want to draw attention to it? So my friend, you do have my sympathy.

Was mulling over whether it is worth it to reply to this Tokyojoe. It's Monday, the Lakers are losing in Orlando, so I'm not happy. Reading the above, I sense Joe is a proud member of the two "communities" he lists and finds them both supportive, welcoming of everyone, and helpful. Does that mean they remain that way if you insult them?
Anyway, thanks for the advice Joe, haven't watched the YouTube videos, and haven't read anything by L. Ron Hubbard either. Thanks for that, but as a Safari user I'm a bit concerned about the stability/safety of the plugins I need to make the script work on that browser (looks like I need two ... something about a combination of SIMBL and GreaseKit). I suppose I could just use Firefox on my Macs (I already use it on my netbook), but I'm pretty happy with Safari.

Whatever, I'll check out the plugs and see what happens.

It looks like SIMBL is the only actual browser add-on required. GreaseKit is a plug-in for SIMBL that allows Greasemonkey scripts to work on Safari. Or something like that.

If you could post a comment in the FG script thread saying how well it did or didn't work I'd appreciate it.
