Yeah, after I posted I went to the JMA quake site (which is now down) and saw the quake was in northern Japan. Figured it must've been a big fucker if I felt it all the way down here in Osaka. My office building is on soft ground so any quakes get magnified. Felt like I was rolling around on top of jelly, very very weird sensation.

Hope everyone further north is okay...
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

Parts of Miyagi-Sendai area are literally getting swallowed up by the tidal wave of wreckage caused by the earthquake as we speak.

The aftershocks won't stop. This is seriously fucked. I am really worried for our safety!

It's by far the biggest earthquake I have ever experienced. The aftershocks keep coming, too.

True that, just had another little big one, the 3 and 4th waves in the tsunami chains look fuckin huge on tv! Apparently the first one will recede and the 3rd and 4th ones will be the biggest. Looks like the banzai pipeline out at sea...

Amazing how no one seemed to have been killed in a quake like this. Well, I'm sure 1 or 2 geezers died of a heart attack or something unrelated but besides those separate incidents, Japan sure is no 3rd world country like New Zea..

The tsunamis are definitely killing people unfortunately, live news showed cars running away and getting swept right off the road by debris-filled waves
