Stopping the rightists

Postby Col.Kilgore » Fri Sep 05, 2003 10:20 pm

Here's my problem: this mad old guy who lives round the corner from me drives his battle bus up and down the street twice a week blasting out military songs and patriotic ditties. He also uses a loud speaker to rant on about N.Korea and restoring Japan's original spirit, etc. What I wanna know is would it be illegal for me to confront him directly by blocking the road with my car? I mean this asshole is causing loads of trouble and noise but NOBODY is doing a Goddam thing about it! Wish I had my old Air Cav. helicopters around.....
I love the smell of napalm in the morning- smells like...victory!

Late at night, get a large container of salt.. and slip it in the petrol tank...

That will either
(A) clog his fuel filter
or
(B) destroy the engine

Either way, you'll be vindicated. And it is easy and quick to do.

Alternatively, you could just call the cops. Or get your own van, and do the leftist advertising right behind him... that would be a hoot.
HIM:
"Bring back old Japan" "Rape Koreans" "Kill the Chinese"
YOU:
"If you're gay, come out" "Burn the Japanese Flag" "Fuck Kimigayo"

LMAO...

I've heard a potato in the tail-pipe does wonders for the engine after driving awhile.

GJ,
I tried the potato once, on me grandmother's Honda.. what happened was the pressure built up rather quickly and the potato shot off. The car had a time getting started. Once it started the potato shot off rather quickly thereafter.

Actually, it is suger in the gas tank that will really screw up an engine. The sugar disolves into the gas but hard particles remain. They get sucked into the engine and get burned leaving a coat on the cylinder walls scratching and scarring the shit out of them. Only a complete tear down and rehoning can fix this. That is a lot of work. Never heard that salt works. Maybe.

Salt works by entering the piston chamber and creating small pits in the side of the cylinder. These pits lead to damage of the engine. Salt also does a damn fine job of clogging any fuel filter that is present. Which will cost you a bit to get repaired, AFAIK.

Speaking of group-think.

There is always an ALPHA in any group. I realized this when watching my wife and her friends. She was the ALPHA and everyone pretty much went along with what she decided to do when they got together. And no one complained.

Find the ALPHA (lead dog) in any group and win THAT person over and it will make it easier to win the others over.
I will not abide ignorant intolerance just for the sake of getting along.

I was talking with some students about that yesterday. The Japanese prefer to have that alpha, and things quickly collapse is one can't be found. That's why there are so many announcements here. Keep that bass drum going.

Great post, Steve. I'll always be an individual, but I've learned to use the group ethic when dealing with the Japanese. It's a big help.

The really messed up thing is when the Alpha is a dimwit, or has ideas that violate the group shared thought. Yet the group still follows the lead of the Alpha.

I think in the west we also have these Alpha leaders, though they are not as strong or overbearing as in Japan. I think they are checked more in the west than they are in the east, or at least in Japan.

There's a corollary to Steve's golden rule about group think. Everyone knows that being part of the group is about being controlled by the group (even if you are the alpha member). A group wields control over an individual if they have something over that individual--usually it's that individual's dependence on the group for money, for status, etc.

A gaijin is not as controllable, because (s)he can always pick up and leave (unless the gaijin's spouse is Japanese and they are committed to live here). Thus, if the group feels they cannot control you, they will shoot you--and freewheeling gajin are often the ones to take the bullet.
