is it just me or do cover girls look dumber and dumber all the time? Like this girl for example, is she not cross-eyed?

The dumb, awkward look is a sign of cuteness in Japan. Maybe it's confused with innocence here, but it's also associated with youth. The younger a girl is, the more doe-eyed she tends to be. Apparently, that's considered sexy by some men. I don't think it is. The ojoosan look is a lot better. :twisted:
