Red carpet treatment all the way, huh, Greji? Be sure to say "hi" to Tokyo Schmoe when you hit up Midtown.

It's kind of weird Ambien, it's like you don't remember that you remember and then you get a trigger and you can recall events clearly, if not the complete details. Hard to explain. Would seem to be too hit and miss for drug facilitated robbery but maybe that's how these people roll, for every 10 they try it on they get one keeper like Ralphy. My money is still on plonk though.

I will report what I have done from some of the advice I have received. I have now informed the Hyatt, offering to review video footage if they can set aside the tapes from the evening in question. This way they can at least spot these two if they come in again.
I am pretty sure I am not going to report this to the police - I just don`t see what it gets me and it will cost time, aggrevation, and some risk of word getting out. Regarding my CC company, probably not, but still not sure
From those with good and well meaning advice, I do thank you

Since noone has said the obvious, I will. Never leave your drink unattended, in any bar, in any country.

From there, I woke up very late the next morning with my clothes on, and found my wallet emptied, a bottle of champagne consumed and three empty glasses, and two other fine bottles of wine missing. And that was just the start.
Later I found out a large ATM withdraw had occured and a huge bill (multi thousands) had been rung up at a Roppongi bar, or which I have not heard of, nor know where it is.
In hindsight, I really am amazed how I have no memory of all of this, and did not see it coming having heard of stories like this before
rooboy wrote:Scuse my cynicism matey but how did they use the card at an ATM? Were they psychic enough to know your pin number? Dya think you told em? It wouldn't matter how fucking drunk I am, I have never told anybody my pin number. Sounds strange to me. Those mickey finn type drugs knock you out, they don't have you telling people intimate details of pin numbers etc.

omae mona wrote:Probably that they are complying with privacy laws. They certainly can't hand over the names of customers to you. They also can't file a police report themselves because they are not the victims. You have to be the one to file the report. If you file a police report, then they will hand over any available information to the police (not to you).
a girl or two of them find you walking the street and chat you up and get you to buy them a drink at the bar of THEIR CHOICE.
