This has been a hot topic of discussion among the local foreign population. Speculation is that she either jumped from the cliff near where her vehicle was found, or was pushed (with more people fearing the latter - her husband has not been named in any media reports, leading to speculation he is under investigation). The sea conditions there are such that a body would either be dashed to bits on the rocks, trapped in an underwater cave, and consumed by crabs and other scavengers on the bottom.

Your quote was from Bucky's post, not mine, but I agree with your conclusion. In other articles you can find thru Google you'd see that they've had cadaver dogs, divers, boats, and choppers all in on the search, but nothing has turned up yet.

Kelli Abad: USAF airman from GA serving in Japan waits to report wife missing
Kelli Abad's husband, who was serving in Japan as a U.S. Air Force airman at the time his wife vanished, failed to immediately report her missing even though the circumstances surrounding her disappearance were suspicious.

Kelli is the 27-year-old Georgia mom who went missing on October 26, 2011, after she argued with her husband Vince Abad. He was stationed at a major U.S. Air Force facility in Okinawa, Japan, at the time of her disappearance...

Ehhh, if they lived on base, wouldn't there be video/records of her leaving by herself? Even if not, with all the traffic cams and whatnot, find it hard to believe anyone can "go missing" while driving a car.
