Most rides at Tokyo Disneyland are weight tested at about 250 pounds with a minimum height requirement of 102 cm. As you all know, yesterday March 2nd 2012, was a rainy day. I had the day off so I and a Jukujo headed up there in hopes that we could beat the long lines. The first ride we tried for was Space Mountain. When we got in line a staff approached us and asked if I wanted to seat test a mock up version before I waited in line. I agreed just out of curiosity. She escorted me down to the maintenance room to sit in one of the Space Mountain carriages, and luckily for me both me and my Jukujo were both able to snugly squeeze in together side-by-side. What luck. We both fit and we were allowed to ride. The techs applauded and informed the gate staff that there should be no problem letting us on. I am 300 pounds and a little under six feet. My J-moms is big, too. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on Space Mountain.
Dumbo Ride , no problem. I rode Dumbo around joyfully with no problems. Just a few squeaks on one of the hydraulics, but nothing major. The Dumbo attended had a little trouble fastening me and momma into the seat. I think it took five full minutes.
Peter Pan, no problem
The Rocket, well, that was problem. Me and my mom couldn't fit together. We had to ride separately. I had a little trouble getting out of it, but managed.
Splash Mountain, no problem either. As a matter of fact, that was my favorite ride!
Big Thunder Mountain, no problem.
Mark Twain River Cruise, obviously no problem.
It's a small world, boring, no problem
Basically, if you can squeeze into a Space Mountain carriage you can ride anything at Tokyo Disneyland.
Food I recommend: Turkey legs, and hot dogs. Don't eat at the Queen of Heart because the food is so unappealing.
I love Tokyo Disneyland.
