"x2": do you mean "batsu ni" or "kakeru ni"? For multiplication by two, it would be the latter.

"Bai" can be used to mean double so I thought it might be something to do with that.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ <-- English answer. Each space = one English character.

That's right. I thought maybe the answer is "shiba inu" (shi bai nu), but that doesn't exactly fit does it?

Mr Kobayashi: First, I experienced a sort of overpowering feeling whenever I was in the room with foreigners, not to mention a powerful body odor coming from them. I don't know whether it was a sweat from the heat or a cold sweat, but I remember I was sweating whenever they were around.

Ahh, light dawns,... it must be something like "wave bye bye" (waif bai bai)

Here's a shot in the dark:

Shi-tzu.

shi (4), tzu (Engrish version of 2), and a shih-tzu is a type of dog.

Man, I'm grasping at straws here.

I like the way you guys are thinking ;)

"Bai" is correct for the second part of the riddle.... And to the FG who said that there must be a reason that one dog is being singled out is right on the money...

Getting warmer :)

Perhaps it's the AKB thread, but for me it conjures up the image of nubile young lasses enjoying their first-ever FMF threesome...

Unfortunately, only in my mind (which is a deep, dark place full of all sorts of scary shit that even Germans would probably have nightmares about, so you'd probably be best going nowhere near it...)
