My Small Town is Being Invaded By Gaijin!

Postby AssKissinger » Sat Sep 27, 2003 5:52 pm

I am the only Westerner in this whole village and starting today over 50 Australian high schoolers are here on two weeks homestay. This whole place is mad with gaijin fever. My near rockstar status as the only whitey is down the toilet. They're even giving a brass band concert and it's already sold out. I feel too ashamed to even go outside. What should I do?

Stay inside for 3 weeks. The first two to steer clear of the invaders, the third to let everybody get over their "gaijin fever."

When you re-appear things will be back to normal.

Well... actually I'm GODFATHER to several Japanese kids (5). They do jodo/kido training with me since my dai sensei died (In theory, now I'm daisensai). As real-normal-regular Japanese they think that is just fine. Right, Steve B?

heh you should count yourself lucky!

being white in my area is a v bad thing, due to all the ruskies on leave coming up from otaru etc and teefing out of the shops... quite a few seem to have jumped ship of late and have settled into the area

i'd have it easier if i was indian or something as they dont seem to bother anyone at all. tho then again they do tend to look rather unhappy..

did see a few gangs of middle eastern youths downtown of late, not uni students by the look of them, probably an abandoned offshoot of that vending machine breaking cult..

fooking gaijin up here are a bunch of cunts! i always get the gaijin stare, even off the chicks! they really all do seem to regard sapporo as TheiRS!

had some idiotic australians talking bout me on he adjacent bench the other week, totally laying in to me.. guess they didnt know about the wear the headphones but dont play music trick to ward off leeches.. and their pathetic attemps to reply to my rather more venemous than necessary japanese retort/ threat was hilarious and even got a bunch of boso teens laughing at them all the way back to their nova cubes..

why cant we get quality gaijin like the regualrs here up north?! damitt that ishihara needs to do a wanker gaijin purge! that should take care of 99% of the scum and provide more work all round!

screw degree screening, immigration needs to sort out personality screening!

erm, rant over?! that feels better..

A golden opportunity is before you to join in the festivities - just shave off those years, slip into some young-looking clothes, and if you can't pass for a student, pass yourself off as a student-teacher and sneak into all the events and excursions being organise for the young Aussies.

Thanks for your message Kotatsu. You know this really pisses me off. One of the places I have never spent much time in is Hokkaido (and up north in general). I have always thought of it as a place where I could spend some relaxing times and enjoy being around people who hadn't had too many interactions with foreigners. I have read over the past several years with absolute disgust all the nonsense going on up there with the drunken skum of Eastern Russia (who have to rank even below Australians in terms of abject riff raff) fucking up continually up there so that now even people who know how to act can't go to an onsen without getting grilled.

The fact is that the Russians appear to need to have the shit kicked out of them and act like general assholes. I am not saying that all do this but there do appear to be a lot of them that do. My problem with Debito is that he focuses all his efforts on bellowing that discrimination shouldn't be tolerated. What he ought to be spending his time on is trying to make sure that these idiotic Russians don't fuck it up for the rest of us.

I have no problem with banning nonJapanese speaking Russians from all onsens and sentos in Hokkaido. That is what Debito should be pushing for. I hope the son of a bitch and his entire family spend a day with drunk Russian dirt bags in a very small stinking sento. Maybe then he will learn. And as for you clowns who say that banning Russians en masse would create political problems think again. There will be no problems. In addition you could just tweak the thing by saying no sailor boys and there passports could be marked so that it is clear than they are sailors. Then the cops should just kick the living shit out of them and lock and fine the shit out of them. Believe me, the problems would be solved over night.

Swill understands one thing. That thing is a hard nightstick over the head.

Yeah, banning sailors sounds like a pretty good solution. It would be a complementary policy to keeping soldiers from leaving base.

By the way, AssKiss, you should make yourself the "middleman" and try to get involved as the go-to gaijin for communicating with the exchange students. Be the leader by emceeing events and the like. If you speak Japanese, even better. You'll maintain your leverage and visibility while the Aussies are there.

Give them all wrong information. Tell them that people like being addressed by the honorable title suffix -chan. Tell them to stick their chopsticks vertically into their rice bowls. Tell them that Japanese just love it when guests come up and hug them on the street.

I told them to keep their underwear on when they go to the onsen and to make sure they wash their asses after they take a bath.

Sakasama...

I was visiting Japanese friends in the artists colony in and around Shirakawa Village, a World Heritage site full of thatch-roof minka farmhouses (((this ought to be in Tina's thread Best countryside in Japan)).

Everywhere I went I got big hugs from young and old and most every J-housewife was introduced as nantoka-chan. It turns out that they had a HIGHLY popular Brazilian-American girl as a JET who taught everyone to be, well, urr, umm, as affectionate to all foreigners as though they were a hot, 22 year old Brazilian girl from back-country Manaus. :love2: Damn, I never got so many hugs and kisses in my life.

why is it I have never heard of that idea before i came to Japan???
Hm lack of tolerence and sterotyping no doubt, also the insensitive behaviour of tourists...it must be said, but japan dont get much riff raff compared to many other poorer nations.

No you male buttlicking worm of a man. What I espouse is called "responsibility." If a bunch of people act like pricks and fuck up other people's business and livelihood (as what was happening in Hokkaido) then I have no problem with banning that group of folks. They are private businessmen and have the freedom to do whatever they want and, for the most part, aren't going to be stupid enough to turn down money from responsible customers. If you want to blame someone and take action, take action against the people that are fucking the place up for the 99 percent of the rest of us. But that wouldn't be easy would it? That takes some self sacrifice doesn't it? This is unheard of isn't it?

Yes, so that is why our good friend Debito has to try to turn Japan into the hypocritical, politically correct nonsense zone that America has become (but is slowly wising up). Leave your horribly misplaced white guilt trip at home you stupid prick because nobody gives a shit for your little crybaby ass. This for yourself for once. Think about what you can do for somebody else for once (instead of thinking about how everyone owes you). In other words take the fucking high rode you stupid bitch.

Gai, I think you (or maybe it's me) may be slightly confused about the difference between different groups of people. Forgive me if I am mistaken; some of your language was a little bit unclear to me. In this message, you are discussing banning the people that "act like pricks". That sounds like a noble goal, but how are you going to keep track of which people that is, even if everybody agrees on the definition of a prick?

Anyway, the reason I'm really confused is that in this message you're advocating banning people who are actively "fucking up other people's business". However, I could have sworn in your previous messages, you were advocating banning and commiting violence not on that group, but instead on all people from the same country as that group. This seems like it would be a much larger group. Which group are you advocating beating up: the small group based on individual acts, or the large group based on nationality? Clarification would be quite welcome.

Why all the dirty language? I thought you were known for being able to construct solid, logical arguments that stood on their own, without name-calling. What happened?

Thanks for the logical post you saved me writing it, but gai was never know for logical debate, just a name a calling child that he`s always been.

ban everyone based on nationality screw democratic law and tolerence just because your in a "business". as for me gai, I have no white guilt trip just believe in fair play for all regardless on race/gender/religon...something Americas forefathers fought for, shame they are being forgotten.
