I moved the other posts to a new thread because this one is supposed to be dedicated to taking the piss out of Kawasaki.
Meanwhile some slogan suggestions for the Kawasaki tourism authority's next campaign:
- "Kawasaki - the middle of the Tokyo/Yokohama sandwich"
- "Kawasaki - you've only heard about us because of the motorcycles"
- "Kawasaki - looks just like vast swathes of Tokyo so please visit us"
- "Kawasaki - we have a whopping big shrine too"

Tragically for this thread, further investigation reveals it's named after its discoverer, not the eponymous urban agglomeration.
