TOKYO - The arrest of a man accused of sending millions of advertisements for a website has underscored Japan's problem with spam e-mail, which the country's bombarded public has dubbed 'nuisance mail'.
Tokyo Metropolitan Police said yesterday they have detained South Korean Yoshiaki Cho, 45, for allegedly deluging cell phone users with more than three million e-mail messages touting his dating and adult entertainment website.
