Hahaha, are you that anti-toyota?
Yokohammer wrote:Aftermarket hard tops ... for those who have plenty of garage-type storage space. Plus, you won't be opening and closing one of those things on a whim. You put it on for the winter, and then take it off for the spring ~ fall season when you use your soft top. Otherwise there's no point in having a roadster. And, anyone who wants a roadster for the right reasons will have the top open in the winter too. So really, although it's just my opinion, that sort of hard top doesn't make much sense. The fold-away hard tops like on the current BMW Z4 and Mercedes Benz SL(K) roadsters are fine (except they take up waaaay too much boot room).
The Honda S2000 soft top looks good when up, so does the soft top on the early BMW Z4 (E85).
The soft top on the Nissan Fairlady roadster, on the other hand, looks kinda goofy, IMHO.
If you need to put an aftermarket hard top on your roadster, just get a coupe.
Non-opening hard tops on roadsters ... of all the purpose-defeating, sacrilegious ... yeesh ...

The mazda hard top has always been a dealer option but at $600USD it is much more common.
