1989: capitalism triumph over communism
2001: capitalism triumph over democracy...

2013: zero divide error ? (or {bad function call : cannot liberate [self] } )

International Business Times, eh? On my list of reliable sources it's running head-to-head with Christopher Johnson, CNN and the user base of Reddit. They might be right, but I'd prefer confirmation from a slightly more credible source.

That's totally unfair. Those people we're trying to liberate are in countries run by Islamic extremists. America on the other hand is controlled by Christian extremists.

Funnyily enough the same thought went through my mind when I was down at my local Church's SUV drivethrough getting my semi-automatic assault rifle blessed.

I just read through Tsarnaev's twitter account, everything he writes is totally normal for a 19 year old immigrant. At some point all these kids start to question their loyalties (ie their birthplace vs their newly adopted home). I know I did, and it led to me moving back to Russia right away.

Don't get me wrong, I don't at all condone what they did, I think it's fucking horrific. But I don't think this kid was 'radicalised' or anything. I think he was a mixed up kid who was just going along with what his whackjob big brother was up to and hoping to impress him.

Really fucking tragic.

Well if American does keep going in the direction it seems to be going the Second Amendment might just prove to be a good thing after all.

I, for one, still favor the Battle Royale idea. Imagine the money you could make with this?

...Boston police didn't shut down an entire city. They shut down an entire city except for the donut shops.
boston.com:
Law enforcement asked Dunkin' Donuts to keep restaurants open in locked-down communities to provide...food to police...including in Watertown, the focus of the search for the bombing suspect.

--- Popehat.com Security theater, martial law, and a tale that trumps every cop-and-donut joke you've ever heard
