those gov. agencies really know what motivates people, I just have to see a tuna fish get cut up!

It's a contrived attempt to create social media buzz, and rather than use existing platforms they just had to spend the budget on creating their own, which may be why the prizes are so tacky (though this could be because as a government agency they are limited in what they can offer as incentives).

Prize: Watching a fireworks display from a party boat

<Category Prize>
Selection method: A prize is given to the best entry in each category from among all of the entries submitted for the respective categories.
Number of winners: 1 person per category for a total of 6 winners
Prize: Walking the runway in a fashion show, seeing a tuna filleting show, etc.

<Special Present Prize>
Selection method: Winners will be selected from among the users who entered for the special prize.
Number of winners: This will be announced as soon as it is determined.

That "etc." had better be fucking spectacular.

"Walking the runway in a fashion show" is probably the stupidest prize I have aver heard of, in that its appeal, although sort of understandable, is severely limited while some would even consider it a cruel form of torture.
