Five bodies found at the bottom of Akita's port

Postby cstaylor » Thu Jun 27, 2002 11:50 pm

5 bodies found in 2 sunken cars at Akita port
Gotta love it:
They salvaged the cars, and found four bodies in one car and another body in the other vehicle. Their age, gender or when the cars sunk remain unclear, investigators said.

Police suspect that they may have committed suicide

Yeah, uh huh. Can you say, "Gangsta Hit"? Four people just get in a car and drive off a pier to die together? I can think of a bazillion better ways to do yourself in than drowning.

Well, the Japanese seem to be more inclined to jump in front of a moving train if they're looking to off themselves. Man, I hate it when that happens. Can't people kill themselves in a way that doesn't inconvenience the rest of us?

The worst are people who make like they are going to jump off of heavily trafficked bridges during rush hour. If I was stuck in a traffic jam caused by that, I would just knock the person out, put him/her in the back of my car, drive off, and drop them off on the side of the road somewhere else.

Was GTA3 released in Japan?? My friend told me it was banned in Europe and Australia, and it seems like it's totally geared toward an American audience, so I figured it was either banned or unreleased in Nippon.

If that question is directed at me, you'll notice that my whole bit about GTA3 not being out in Japan is all heresay and conjecture that I got from my friend....I think it's like 3-4 posts above this.

I had a copy... finished it... and mailed it to my friend in Nagoya. I had a friend in the U.S. ship me a copy a couple of weeks ago... couldn't find it here.
