SAITAMA -- A massive crackdown on a yakuza-run kiddy porn ring has resulted in the arrest of eight men and seizure of tens of thousands of pedophile videos...40,000 videos and about 400 VCRs that the mob-run ring had used to record movies from a master tape. Another 15,000 DVDs were also taken for evidence....The two-story Saitama factory was about 528 square meters, with the first floor used as a parking lot and the upper floor where the movies were taped. Each night, the ring sent truckloads of videos out for delivery

Actually wandering around Shitamatchi on crutches back in the early 80s, old-school yakuza used to offer me seats on the trains more often than "regular" Japanese. Minor bosses would often have their kobun "find" me a seat on the train at Ueno.
