That is like naming Andy Murray the best tennis player at Wimbledumb this year. What a charade. I think Messi (aka the Bookkeeper) is a wonderful player, full of energy and talent, dedication, and most of all, serious manly guts, especially for an almost midget. He doesn't embellish like that Mexican Soap Opera Queen Robben or preen like that androgynous Portugese homophile. He gets taken out, he groans, he gets up and looks for the free kick. He was so far from being even in the top 5 this tournament this award pulls back the curtain on the shameless toadyism of FIFA and this ridiculous Messi-anic fervour the world over. Watching the Japanese highlights was like watching a Maria Ozawa cumpilation but with a short dorky Italian kid as her stand in. I was surprised to find out there was another team on the field it was so shameless. Messi is simply just not that good a player, especially outside the confines of Barcelona.

But fear not, faithful readers. Order und Right have been restored, and the world still sees justice served. It was keine Blitzkrieg like the semi-final, but the better team won, and the superior race triumphed. Sie sind gleich als Ubermensch. Deutschland Uber Alles. Herzlichen Gluckwunsch, aber mein regenschirm ist kaputt und es regnet morgen wieder.

It is refreshing that we are using Nigerian media as our source these days -- although that probably sounds like snark it actually tickled my funny bone. That and the Freudian typo in the headline, Maradonna, as in Prima Donna. Icing on the cake is the presence of very spamtastic promos, text and hyperlinks as follow:

Are you calling Choko an almost midget?

Reports are that you are maybe not so far from the truth, but remember that he has the skills to put a puck where no amount of exercise, Indian buffet or gluten will save you. It might help with your transethnic transitioning, though. Good luck with all the microaggeressions from the cisethnic hegemony!

Odd fact but not only does he look like me, he's the same height as me. If he ever comes to Japan it will freak the fuck out of everyone if I stand next to him. I ain't exactly tall but at 5'7", I don't think I'm an "almost midget" either. (does that make Japanese midgets?)

HAHAHA.

ANyways, I did say Almost there, and if Messi's Official Bio claims 169 cms (5'6"1/2), that means he is probably 166 (5'5"+arupha), which is almost Maradona territory. Did anybody see him standing beside the German keeper? That was comical.

At any rate, he looked suitably unimpressed by his fancy new golden ball, as he should be, because he knows why he got it, and what he really wanted. He started slowly at the international level, but he sure came on nicely this time. If only he had a real team around him like MaraPrimaDonna did. Messi sure did bulk up as well. I remember him being quite a bit slimmer just a couple of years ago.

Neither one sounds like the German. That's my point. Besides depending on the accent of the German speaker it can sound pretty different even in German.

Swiss are only German when it comes to stealing Jewish gold and refusing to fully face up to the past. I speak or spoke not half bad university level German and I have never thought a proper German Swiss was speaking German when they knew they were.

Credit where it's due. When it comes to policing capitalism America sweeps the board. Corruption at FIFA has been an open festering sore for years - All Europe did was complain a bit. America gets really interested in the business and bang! arrests made and extradition to follow. Excellent. Except the top dog seems to have slid away yet again.

Not that I care a fig for football but fraud is fraud. It's people's hard earned money you bastards.
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

I would go more with low born antipodean or British English: native but neither fluent nor pleasing..............I think. I never really know WTF that ilk are trying to say and not often sure they do either.

PS As WS said: good on both The World Police!!! and the Swiss for rounding up those bounders and cads. It looks like Sepp Blatter might need a step ladder to slither his way out of this one. And I care so much about football that if anybody even thinks of mentioning the upcoming PC driven appeasement World Cup in this thread rather than starting another........well, I might well have a Knipshitt. Apparently it's "even better than the Men's."

Sure it is dear. How boutcha get me another cold one while you're up, and I'll turn it back to the Stanley Cup so we can watch some real athleticism.
