And come February you can double up on Mega-nostalgia with the NES compilation for Gamecube.

Again, schweet!

The game will feature Mega Man games 1-8. As a plus two never before seen Mega Man arcade games will be on the disc, Mega Man the Power Battle and Mega Man 2 the Power Fighters. As of now there is only word on an American release, slated for February 2004.

Not as far as I know. The Power Battle game that's on the upcomng Gamecube compilation is basic Mega Man action, but just boss battles. The only real deviation from the forumula (that I know of) has been the Gameboy Advance series, Battle Network (known as Rockman.exe in Japan).

He'd probably translate well to an FPS. Heck, look how well Metroid pulled it off. (Some fanatics say it's a "first person adventure" game, but damn if I didn't spend a lot of time shooting stuff. :) )

treasures new astroboy (the erm, inspiration for rockman) ownz the latest megaman releases..

that new collection looks nice, somewhat reminiscent of the collection released on the megadrive years back

theres also psx box sets , tho strangely the us version has better content than the local one ..

dont forget to check out the recent activision anthology on gba if youre an old skooler..
