I actually like the tsunami advice: be aware of tsunamis while playing. I would imagine it advisable to stop playing in case of a tsunami...

It seems this game is not what it is sold as. I am told she captured 10 of the little fuckers yesterday - all of them in her room. The two short trips out were to collect monster balls. No plans for trips out today. You stay in your room and the game is fine with that.
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Might just be my imagination but there seemed to be a few people wandering around the neighbourhood with smartphones out who looked like they didn't get out in the sunshine much.

I saw a young teenage girl walk into our local sherine while fixated on her mobile phone, then walk back out a short while later still staring at the phone and zigzagging off through the adjoining danchi as if she was looking for something.

Spotted my first Pokey Man too in my neck of the woods. Grown up dude (does this count for two?) in the middle of the night at about 2:30am. Doggies were a bit suspicious of his weird behaviour

Not in that line of business, but the first thought that came into my head was "it's like someone designed a tool for peedos".

Another one late last night taking an unusually keen interest in the crappy, seldom used and poorly-lit "playground" on top of the local emergency water tank, albeit in the presence of her mother.

Living near a major tourist attraction, I've figured out 5 or 6 locations. It is very disconcerting to be walking your dog in the park and going around the side of a scrub and finding about 7 or 8 guys and gals standing their like a mixed sex rape gang waiting for prey.

I've seen dudes playing it in bars the last couple of days despite having attractive women sitting there alone next to them.

The problem for me, and maybe others, is that a lot of those women think it's kinda cool that they play, which it isn't. It sort of reminds me of Line, which might have started out well enough but is now just another shiny bauble distracting the idiots. And if you don't or won't play, you're out.

Kuro, since LINE has outskyped Skype, it's the go to for free calling besides just chatting. I use it will most of my customers here as well. I am pretty appalled by the adult poke-fucked though...

Cool, good to know. That is what I meant by it started out well enough. OTOH, LINE conversations at a bar are stultifying. It's a magnet for morons. They tak about shit they saw on LINE written by people they don't know and will never meet talking about vapid crap nobody but teenagers should care about. It makes Twitter look rather profound and incisive. Which it's not. Which is sad to see. They didn't have to be dumbphones, but I think that watershed has been breached.Pokemon Goo, OTOH, might just end up culling a few by the looks of it. This is looking very promising. It will be a sad joy, but I'll still laugh when they go.

before or after Nintendoo said they aren't making money here?

You sold too early, this shows again nobody understands the heart of gamers like Nintendo. It reminds me of when they offered free downloads of classic games shortly before they launched the Wii. If you recall at that time everyone was watching Xbox vs Playstation, and Nintendo beat them both with a new, but in retrospect very obvious extension of gaming.

They will do it again.

after all, the best way to invest for non-professionals is most basic(simple) and lowest risky one when the stock market is relatively calm.
concretely only the stocks which are soaring to the right above 25SMA and has enough transaction volumes i buy and sell by swing trade.
its too simple?

Olympics: Uchimura hit with $5,000 roaming bill from playing Pokemon Go
The Mainichi | August 2, 2016
RIO DE JANEIRO --
For all-around gymnastics gold medal favorite Kohei Uchimura, Pokemon Go turned into Pokemon dough in Brazil.
The reigning Olympic and world champion confided on Sunday he was hit with a 500,000 yen ($5,000) data roaming bill after becoming hooked on Pokemon Go since arriving in Brazil for the Rio Games.

Re: Poke a Mongo

Postby BigInJapan » Fri Aug 05, 2016 6:33 pm

I had my first Pokémonger encounter here in rural Kyushu today.
An SUV pulled over almost right next to me as I was doing my daily 5k (walk) today. I was like WTF, but then I noticed the passenger was flicking his phone screen, then he points down the road, so the driver takes off about 30m down the road to stop again, then they took off after a few seconds later (I guess he got his monster  ).
It's a good thing it was the passenger, and not the driver who was the Pokémonger, or they would have had a gaijin-sized dent on the side of their SUV...

I must say, I think I'm a safer driver while playing PG on the road. I drive slower and am more alert do to not wanting to crash into anything. I think with the right amount of caution, driving while playing PG is fine. I would only recommend it for experienced drivers such as myself, though.

It was kind of creepy taking a taxi ride home through Asakusa at about 3:30 am this morning and seeing the what are usually empty streets at that time filled with zombies loitering on corners staring at their smartphones.
