its exceptional for women to be adequate for a manager.
generally womens brain cannot clearly distinguish between public and personal, and between rational and emotional. and it also cannot mostly correctly connect cause with effect and often connects one with originally unrelated another by hysterics. and she just grasp things before her eyes and cannot grasp in the relation with the whole. and when she falls into crisis, mostly puts down a woman card and "so pls overlook and forgive me coz im a woomaaaan! :liar: " when you appoint women as a manager, do need to be pretty cautious about what kind of woman she is.
btw im not a sexist but just a cold dry realist. thank you

In my experience in Japan if you want a job doing ask a woman, if you want someone to talk about doing a job, ask a man.

Agree: In my experience, when it comes to do actual work, women are way better at it than men. Second are gay men. Straight ass blokes are no good for anything but beer, really.

Just my personal experience, no science.

Unless you're talking about blow jobs or housework you're talking out of your ass. About the only thing women are good for in the workplace is gossiping and making sure they AC is set to an unreasonably high temperature in the summer.

Zinggggggggggggggg. Quel fun.
Legion's line is mostly a tired Progressive White Expat canard, but if we are talking about women that are motivated and entrusted with some authority they certainly seem as able as the corner seat pencil sharpeners. I found our secretaries to be ruthlessly efficient at their appointed tasks and much cooler headed than many faculty members but new or non routine problems often caused some fairly avoidable meltdowns and ridiculously long and late implementation periods. The main problem is aspirations and expectations: why would anybody with neither want to bother even if she could?

When dealing with customer service reps here, I try to avoid females because of this. Any kind of out of the ordinary situation and the panic is palpable. (and the fervid adhesion to whatever flowchart response is usually less likely to lead to a satisfactory conclusion) Not that there aren't plenty of robotic men that do the same but I've found with a male rep, you're more likely to get someone who manages to actually provide help.

Definitely. They seem to think their inability to make male friends or work with them effectively is a sign of how useless Japanese men are. They're too racist to realize it's a sign of how useless they are to the Japanese and that tolerating the women because they like yellow pussy doesn't make them progressive.

Total inability, that's one thing....but not so sure qty of J-male friends is a good judgement of anything. Japanese males have enough trouble making other Japanese male friends outside of school or work, let alone all the emotard and insecure bullshit that comes with trying to make friends with them as a white pig cowboy foreigner. What I find really bizarre is all the really vocal racist Japanese comments all over the net and occasionally you hear in person.....are from disgruntled fellows with better than the average J-person Engrish. (like what take tries to emulate)

Definitely..................racist

Yeah, I was going to mention how not very progressively racist it is but Legion strikes me as a pretty crappy racist...............despite his most progressive efforts
BTW, that line is now at least 30 years old and unchanged in form or content.
I suppose the flip side of that is the palpable racism towards Jpn women of Sooper Delegate Clintonite RadFem white female FGs. It's pretty funny how blind they are to it, though, so I usually prefer to bait and wait when I meet them. Most of them are just blinded by dogma, not actually true A'holes.
PS I am not talking about how FG women can have it harder here but their palpable and often hysterical hatred of Japanese femininity.

The flip side is just as funny but there's no reason to waste your time trying to catch them out there because they'll never admit they've been had. They aren't true asshole because that is a term reserved for men. They are true cunts.

I think things have gotten easier for FG women in recent years. I don't sense as much anger among the ones I know as I used to. But maybe I'm just associating with fewer cunts.

But yeah that whole Japanese women are cool but all the men are shit meme is something I've been hearing for nearly two decades now. Please. Japanese women are some of the most boring creatures on earth. The exception being those who work in mizushobai.

I heard from my friend in Korea that she just bought an iPhone because she didn't want to keep a bomb near her two-year old. I know it's only one data point but if that's the start of a trend Samsung might be real fucked.

I had a bit of a chuckle out at the airport the other day. If you want to ride on the airplane which ticket cost you some 30,000 yen, and you have the wrong sort of phone, you have to throw out your phone which cost you some 70,000 yen.

The handling of the recall was/is pretty terrible and they're definitely paying for it. "No Samsung Note 7's allowed/can be charged" signs at most check in counters I've seen in the past few months. Hard to not laugh at how they've been added as a weapon in a popular video game.

Image

...but of course they had the videos taken down with copyright claims. Sure they earned more love with that pointless move.

Are you actually not allowed on with it even if it is turned off??? That is fecked.
On the way over I got my own chuckle from how many times they mentioned the Samsung safety issue warning in English but only once or twice in Japanese. The Jpn guy across from me was definitely using his, and while I am no expert it looked exactly like the one in the warnings and from my furtive Google Image check on the in-flight WIFI thingy.

When I flew in Sept they had to be turned off, in your carry on, and no charging allowed. Seems they've been totally banned since then.

Feck, eh? Next time I might fink if I see somebody using theirs, but I would probably be wrong about what phone it is, which would be both sad and dickish.

Probably because of this:

Green said that he had powered down the phone as requested by the flight crew and put it in his pocket when it began smoking. He dropped it on the floor of the plane and a "thick grey-green angry smoke" was pouring out of the device. Green’s colleague went back onto the plane to retrieve some personal belongings and said that the phone had burned through the carpet and scorched the subfloor of the plane.

Also...

Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 has caught fire as many as 112 times after only one month on sale. That's based on official tallies of 92 incidents in the US, plus at least 17 in Korea, 1 in Taiwan and 2 in Australia. (No Japan incidents that I see?)
