Nice, keep the Koreans hating the Japanese and vice versa while mother China comes and reclaims all it's rightful colonies...

The only thing stupider than the Koreans whining about Japan is the Japanese whining about the Koreans whining about Japan. You fucked their shiite up good............now STFU and be the adult in the room while they cry themselves dry. It also says a lot about how not very sorry way too many Jpn are for what they did, or at least how pissy they get even when they shouldn't, especially when you see how not so pissy they are to their conquerors. Allowing that the West was worse that was still very bad of them.

so if some foreign news media with evil intent report your father or grandfather serially raped 10 women and burned them all to death, who in reality "just" raped one woman in his younger days, you just sit idly and watch it? ah? because "i am an adult!" eh? you fucking empty head poser as always.

Not that I like the sound of this film at all but Tacky you are up to your old tricks again. According to Google translate of that text he said 50,000 girls not 5.000,000. And the sentence about being collectively executed when they got ill is also missing. here's a tip - If you are going to accuse others of lying it destroys your case if you tell porkies yourself. And if you do decide to tell porkies, don't choose ones that are easily found out.

"It was a slaughterhouse, not a brothel," said Zhao Jingrai, a slaughterhouse that was not a brothel, but a young girl who was dragged in and treated 29 people a day. I decided. " Then, I asked, "Where did the many people go?" He said, "There are about 50,000 people and 20,000-30,000 girls who came back.
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

korean-english version google translate is just broken. 만 명 means 万人(10 thousand)
but it was still an easy mistake of mine. its 500,000 correctly.

as i said before, among the ex-major powers, its ONLY japan which formally apologized and compensated the past colonization. the other ex-majors havent done yet. why? because they do not need to do so. why? they lawfully annexed and colonized under the international law at that time. and japan, too, went through the very same procedures and annexed korean peninsula in the very same way with theirs. and it was formally recognized by the international society. nevertheless, ONLY japan already formally apologized and compensated the past colonization in spite of the fact that there was originally no need to do so. it was an epochmaking history event. even germany still has not done it formally.
https://venturesafrica.com/germany-to-a ... p-further/
but the international society hardly knows it and has not evaluated it adequately yet because of the ignorance and indefference of them toward far east history. japan has a huge gripe about it seriously.

and korean always quote and compare j-colonization with the war crimes committed by imperial japan and nazi germany
but its typically ridiculously a category mistake. what korean should compare with about j-colonization are uks india, frances Algeria, hollands indonesia, italys Libya, belguims Congo, americas filipine and germanys Namibia etc, NOT the war crimes.

and japan just has been taking exceptions to the exaggerated and made-up parts korean did. why the fuck on earth should be regarded as "not so sorry" if you take an exeption to the undeserved part they made up. any vicious criminals have a right to do it needless to say and they should be punished only by what they really did.
unfortunately and stupidly some westerners, especially "liberal" ones blindly follow the korean exaggeration, fabrication and category mistake without verifying. because they look so poor and weak, always wearing victim card around their neck. and those weakhead "generous" westerners are their easy target. its really a vicious circle.

South Korea's President Park 'willing to resign'

Please, I'm sick and tired of seeing that other S. Korean person with the sunglasses and some kind of involvement with horses? Olympics? on TV.

Why replacing South Korean President is no Walk in the Park

South China Morning Post wrote:The tragedy of South Korean President Park Geun-hye is in its third and final act. She has been impeached by an overwhelming margin – 234 votes. Her power will now be suspended and the Constitutional Court will determine whether to uphold the motion. Meanwhile, Koreans will have 60 days to choose her successor, but given the rank of top contenders, that’s easier said than done. Incidentally, all her probable alternatives work great for China – even if not so much for Korea.

Those most likely to replace Park are former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, who would probably represent the president’s conservative Saenuri Party; Moon Jae-in, leader of the progressive Minjoo Party of Korea; and Ahn Cheol-soo, founder of the centrist People’s Party.

[...]lots of gossip interesting insight[...]

I hope, it's not going to be Ban Ki-moon, he is so boring, yaaaaaawwwwwn.

If they cannot find a proper replacement, they can always ask Kim Jong-un. He has such a great track record. And it definitely won't be boring...

It's in the English language Mainichi Take-chan:

S. Korean man nabbed for vandalizing statues at Fukushima shrine

The Japan Times tends to be a bit slow, but they'll probably pick the story up at some point.

Anyway, I agree, it can only be a hate crime. I have driven through the Sukagawa area a couple of times and it is a truly beautiful place, but it's sort of out of the way and I can't understand why some random asshole would choose it to vandalize in. Just weird. The guy is going to be in jail for a while, that's for sure.

Supposedly*, rabid Christians in Korea vandalize "graven images" of Buddha.
*I don't fully trust these sources.

talktruthful.com/2016/08/22/christian-vandalism-in-south-korea-against-the-buddhist-religion/
"...recently, Buddhist statues have been identified as idols, and attacked and decapitated in the name of Jesus. Arrests are hard to effect, as the arsonists and vandals work by stealth of night." -- Wikipedia

There was also a rash of temple burnings in the 1980s and 1990s, and attacks on Buddhist artwork have continued. In one instance, a Protestant minister used a microphone on a cord as a bolo weapon and smashed temple paintings and a statue. In other instances, red crosses have been painted on temple walls, murals, and statues. Buddha statues have also been decapitated. http://www.worldlibrary.org/articles/Korean_Buddhism

Oh great, a new category of religious nutjob: Korean Christian extremist terrorism.

But my WTF "hatena" was more about the fact that the vandalism took place in Sukagawa. It is a beautiful but very much out-of-the-way place that isn't exactly a center of anything.

Well, let's say that this Korean guy is in good company.

I personally consider destruction of cultural property crimes against humanity, and think it should be punished as such.

I certainly did, and while I like the spirit I also think there should be a less possessive appreciation of cultural heritage. A lot of it amounts to little more than a mass opiate and commodity fetishism, and it is just stuff, cool stuff though it might be. Shit comes and goes, after all. But the malicious destruction of other people's stuff should definitely be regarded with outrage, like the Afghani Buddhas, the Syrian whatever they were (Palmyra?), and the attitude itself is a crime against history, to be sure.

I agree. A lot of it isn't really that special and it would be just as culturally sound to commission local artists and artisans to repair where possible and replace if not. Even better if the perpetrator can be forced to pay the cost. I am reminded of the Japanese going full on punishment mode on some of their young people for adding graffiti to an old building in Italy. Italians of my acquaintance were actually pretty calm about it - it's not that special and although it is regrettable it's not a major outrage.

But the malicious destruction of other people's stuff should definitely be regarded with outrage, like the Afghani Buddhas, the Syrian whatever they were (Palmyra?), and the attitude itself is a crime against history, to be sure.

Well yes but see above. That was more a matter of scale and the fact those things really were awesome, unique and irreplaceable - and the filthy fuckers knew it. If we go with the principle then we had better take the strongest possible action against the Louvre and (ahem) other famous museums. I will never forget those massive, long galleries in the Louvre filled with the hacked off heads of Bhuddist statues. You'd think the fuckers could have at least kept the statue in one piece.
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Agreed, but you're in danger of losing 'your' marbles
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elgin_Marbles ...............

I think most traditional museums could easily be replaced by Star Trek style HD interactive computer displays and the kids would actually get more out of seeing stuff in situ..........plus they might get an idea that it's not okay to steal other people's shit for their own entertainment, though that could easily lead to thoughts of communism, homosexuality and ungendered toilet facilities

I didn't know about it - I agree with you. This Korean cunt didn't only vandalise historical treasures - it was a gutter mentality attack on Japanese culture and meant to inflame. The shithead could try to make an excuse about 'idols' but there's plenty of Buddhist and other old statuary in Korea and I don't hear that this scumbag destroyed them.

The fact that this scumbag did it in Fukushima rings a bell, too - for those of us who were in Korea at the time of the earthquake etc, we remember the gloating in some sections of the media and from some Koreans we regularly communicated with. What an absolute cunt in light of everything the people of Fukushima have been through. Lock the shithead up in Jp detention for some months before deporting him.
