The American view and by extension that of Western countries, is well captured when Wendy Sherman, U.S. undersecretary of state in the Obama administration, said that Korea was constrained by its politically exploited nationalism in its future possibilities, the same view as my Arab friend.

If Sherman had known more about the plight of hundreds of thousands of women enslaved as sex toys for Japanese soldiers, would she say the same thing? Those women had to deal with tens or hundreds of soldiers per day, undergoing the dehumanizing process of being turned into human cesspools or portable toilets.

Sherman was quite adamant that Korea should turn the page and cooperate with Japan in what is emerging to be a trilateral alliance led by the U.S. against expansionist China. Japan rejoiced to see the world's superpower take sides with it, feeling that its shameful history would be pigeonholed and forgotten forever.

Japan has gone further declaring that it no longer has an interest in the past and wants to foster future-oriented relationships with its victim nations. What an imposition!

Obviously what Korea lacks is education for people like Sherman, who are ignorant of Korea's painful history and still get away with it at their convenience. As in the Spicer case, it goes only so far. What is needed is a way of making them see Korea's misery as compelling as they see the Jewish Holocaust.

"its the very same with the holocaust! never forgive never forgive! neverrrr!!!! :theeye: "

exaggeration, exaggeration after exaggeration out of spite as always.... :puke:

even some jewish organization officially protests that those korean try grouping comfort women issue together with the holocaust.

And in February this year a father said he was lucky to be alive when his fridge exploded so hard the door was blown off its hinges and across the room.

Robert Antill, 54, from Bingley in West Yorkshire, was left with cuts and bruises after the appliance exploded - and claimed he onyl survived because he was kneeling down at the time.

Samsung confirmed at the time that the fridge was their RS21NCNS fridge freezer which was discontinued in 2009.

Wasn't it the Mongolian fighter who kicked the Korean in the nuts? ( and not the other way around )

ETA I see now... it was the Mongolian who was the one hit with the groin shot ..

This weird Korean fighter who later got arrested for gang rape and then sealed his fate in prison by committing murder, Joe Son , demonstrated his apparent immunity to groin shots. Either balls of steel or none at all...

Residents living around the Brookhaven park where a controversial “comfort women” memorial is set to be unveiled June 30 are telling the city to find another location or face legal action.

The Reserve at Brookleigh Community Association, representing 95 homeowners along Blair Circle, pays for Blackburn Park II’s maintenance, but had no input into the monument’s location, said board member Brad Sapir. Residents are concerned the statue affects the park’s use and brings a political controversy to the neighborhood, Sapir said.

“For them to just make this decision without speaking with us is extremely unfair and at this point we don’t know if it is legal,” said Sapir. “For the city to come in and plop this down in the center of the park really changes the environment and atmosphere around this park.”

Sapir said he and other residents are considering filing for a court injunction forcing the memorial’s relocation unless the city does so voluntarily.

Actually, Samurai did not.

Only those who were strong and helpful helped to keep the righteousness and to be loyal.

If you encounter a strong enemy, you are not fighting to the end, but you are betraying the early soldier or betraying the master.

Musashi Miyamoto (1584-1645), who prefers to fight against each other, is regarded as the best samurai in Japan.

Most samurai preferred to kill with surprise when their opponent was nervous. It was important to win regardless of means and methods.

To sit down and kneel, like a sword, to take out a knife, to poke or to cut and to learn how to learn the law of the grandchildren to advance the ability to strike preemptive.

If you know the enemy among the grandchildren and you know me, the phrase "fireball burning fire" that you are fighting a hundred times is not dangerous.

If you know your opponent thoroughly and you think you have a chance to win, you will go ahead without preemptive attack.

Empress Myeongseong, Sino-Japanese War, Russo-Japanese War, Sino-Japanese War, Pearl Harbor and Pacific War were all cowardly surprise attacks.

Samurai is also featured in selecting a weak spot and hitting it intensively.

It is not irreconcilable with the mean samurai tradition that the group bully (Ijime) that bullies the abbreviated people is widespread in Japanese society.

The propaganda that a Japanese army armed with the spirit of samurai is willing to devote his life to the nation and nation was fiction.

The Japanese soldiers who committed suicide after the surrender of the King in 1945 were similar to German Nazi officers.

In the Soviet concentration camps, the cowardly samurai reality is revealed.

Approximately 600,000 people in the Kanto District of Japan, who became prisoners of war, swore allegiance to the Soviet Union in order to beg for their lives.

Understanding and sympathy was not the samurai gene.

In the 1970s, when about 100,000 Vietnamese boat people drifted in the East Sea and demanded a rescue, they showed a cruel, cold-blooded person.

The Japanese government did not save them, but sent them back to the sea of death.

This is in contrast to the fact that South Korea accepted the Vietnamese refugees who had struggled in the South Sea.

On June 19, a man stormed through the cemetery, pulling out wooden grave markers and knocking down headstones. Jason Tamai, of Tamai Family Farms, was nearby.

"A passerby started yelling at me, 'A guy just vandalized the cemetery, breaking things in the field,' " Tamai said.

Tamai got into his car and started following the man, who was walking down Rice Avenue.

"He was walking around with no shoes on," Tamai said.

Tamai stopped following the man, but Oxnard police eventually found him. An officer contacted Roberto Garcia of Garcia Mortuary, which owns the Japanese cemetery, but he did not want to press charges.

Garcia said he has been ill for the past few days and hasn't cleaned up the mess left by the man.

"When I heal, I'll take care of it," Garcia said.

The world's first ever footage of Korean sex slaves used by Japanese soldiers during WWII has emerged.
Grainy black and white footage from 1944 shows seven bare-footed women outside a brick house said to be a military-run brothel in occupied China as it was liberated from the Japanese by Allied forces.
One woman in a dirty blouse is seen talking to a Chinese officer, others stare nervously at the ground and one, who appears to be pregnant, gently touches her bump.
Until now, photographs and accounts from survivors - labelled 'comfort women' by Japanese forces - have been the only records of Korean sex slavery.

But after a two year trawl through US archives, researchers uncovered footage which appears to show sex slaves at Songshan, Yunnan Province, as US-China Allied Forces reclaimed Songsan from the Japanese.
A team from Seoul University and Seoul Government matched the footage outside the building to pictures and identified the women by their clothes and facial appearance.

SungKongHoe University professor Kang Sung-hyun, who participated in the study, said: 'Their appearance, such as the bare feet, suggest they were enslaved.
'Due to a long-standing dispute over Japan's wartime sexual slavery, it became crucial to come up with evidence.
'This video clip will strengthen the admissibility of evidence behind wartime sex slavery.'
Professor Kang said the footage was discovered at the US National Archives and Records Administration where it had been gathering dust for some 70 years.
The clip tied in with wartime records showing a dozen sex slaves being captured in Songshan by the allied forces in September 1944.

Not a good day for denialistas eh Tacky.

this movie just tells there are some cases are. no more than it. nothing will change by the movie.

smiling comfort women wearing fashionable clothes, walking after j-soldiers.

and and....
this photo among the dailymail article
comfort-women-made for us.jpg

this is apparently comfort women house, which was managed by the very same system of the comfort women under the imperial japan, for us soldiers to prevent them from raping j-female citizens.

sarcasm or something? eh?

and also the so-called monkey house under korean war was managed by the very same system of the comfort women.
do remember it.

They were also concerned with the health of the troops, which prompted close supervision of the hygienic conditions in the comfort stations to help keep STDs under control.

Meanwhile many of the women who worked in 'comfort stations' during WWII were given repeated injections of the syphilis treatment compound 606, which left many of them unable to have children.

what sanitary "raping" houses were!!! surprising!!

After the war, many of the women were brutally slaughtered and their story was untold until 1991.

there is no evidence to prove it. there are just some inconsistent "testimonies" by those ex-korean whores.

as always, dailymails articles are not thorough, which are even more terrible than j-tabloids articles.

At 18 seconds in the movie someone is holding up a slate

Subject : Lung Ling

Cameraman : Fay

Make of it what you will

There needs to be either a written record or a narration to go with the film to verify it.

But the movie is only 17 seconds long. Anyway, I didn't see the slate. Where is it again?

Edit to add. I see now. If you watch Tacky's version then slate is at the start of the next video in the playlist. At 18 seconds is 1 second into the next clip.

Yeah, but is it made up of two clips spliced together? The slate you are talking about is at the beginning of the next clip I think.

The second clip refers to here?

http://www.geographic.org/geographic_names/name.php?uni=-2656931&fid=1216&c=china

And some sort of food depot/warehouse being stocked by the Chinese? army.

Edit to add: Two different locations both in Yunnan near Burma maybe 50km apart assuming Long Ling is Lung Ling. Chinese seems to have changed as well though.

https://www.google.co.jp/maps/place/Songshan/@24.4508907,98.6653245,10.81z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x372f23cff5aeee29:0x49e2a9e50f57f88a!8m2!3d24.747904!4d98.891282?hl=en

Very likely the same cameraman and US Army unit. Being near Burma explains why the brothel was liberated - The Japanese Imperial Army suffered a total loss in Burma and that part of China at the hands of the British and Chinese with American air support.

I know, which makes the whole thing hard to understand. The slate appears to be giving the location of the following footage.

So where is the slate for the footage at the start? If the guy was a military cameraman he would have followed the same process.

I edit video for a living, which is why I believe the footage I posted of the concentration camps, someone with a similar job to mine gives affirmation the footage is real. I recognize the discipline.

I don't doubt the Japanese military did bad things in the war. I do wonder about the motivation of people who won't move on.

Himmm... when I give tit for tats to the local chipmunk bullshit I face whiteknighting bullshit but this stream of vomit gets a freeride because it pretend to be an historical debate ...

Can somebody explain me life (skip after "The birds, the bees and the monkey babies, Mulder." I got those on tape...)

Also just in case some miss the fact that it's not really a question...
Why keep poking this turd with a stick ?

The issue and debate have value... but debating it with Takarembe is like talking naval warfare with Trump... or french cuisine with a poodle. Stop the lies... you are not debating anything... you are just witnessing a dumpster fire with a pork roasting inside while it pretend everything is fine and reading him the fire safety code ...
