20 grams per day is the "safety limit?" Specific gravity of alcohol is about .8, 20 grams would therefore be about 2.5 cl. Makes 270 cl safety limit per day, if strong zero has 9%.

Or 5 cl for vodka at 50%. Cl, not dl. O tempura, o mortadella, what have I done to my live

I like the 12% ones sold at Lawson. Roughly 60 mL of pure alcohol per tall can. It's what's for breakfast. A couple cans can provide a meal's worth of calories.

Zima gets a new look and a second chance
The Japan Times | Dec 16, 2014
In 2008, Molson Coors discontinued the drink in the United States and the only country in the world that currently sells it is Japan...Aware of how badly the drink failed in the United States, and the girly image that became associated with it, Molson Coors Japan has carefully cultivated a “cool” image for Zima here.

"Excess"?
I thought Japan was a drink-till-you-barf country without any concept of excess.

Japanese booze draw back criticized policy regarding alcohol-serving restaurants, Tokyo organisers ban alcohol fearing someone might cough or bump into another a spread a doomsday zombie apocalypse virus you see in a Japan horror movie or apocalypse video game

Booze is BANNED by Jpn
Image

Japanese drink many many liters a year, Worldwide annual alcohol-consumption rates range from two to 15 liters....but in islamic shitholes where alcohol is banned they go around drinking some kind of pertoleum paint fume made into booze or the devout muzzie go around full kamikzae abstain from booze and blow themselves up
in Japan there is now such thing as Drinking Too Much, a Slary Man can often be found almost worked to death and then has a break and finds himself passed out on the floor of some train covered in his own vomit in Japan

Image

popped back in to say hello and welcome to Prohibition !!

https://i.gifer.com/YJOt.mp4

the Rum-running bootlegging and the Yakuza speakeasies coming back to re-live the days of 1920s America and Weimar Germania

WINE and BOOZE IS BANNED... Japan goes full jihad against its own people?
...are any of you guys skilled at making alcohol?
Shochu, Liquors, Chuhai, Whisky, Umeshu, Vodka, Wine, Sake, and beer all qualified as intoxicating liquors and were therefore prohibited.
no more wine with Jesus, the Japanese went full Sharia Law?
Image

They just went full prohibition al cappone? Happened in US once, the puritan 18th Amendment to the United States Constitution took booze away from restaurnats and stores and put the wealth into homebrewers and also straight into the hands of the Mafia?

You guys got pedestrian, FuckedGaijins or Japanized Normies unable to read the language of the country your at? ...let's me know next month when you cant buy a beer in Tokyo and stressed over worked people start to go more nutty than usual
Anyways get the Wife or girlfriend or your Japan friend to translate the headlines for you

Confirm the news
Step 1
Get a serach engine - type in 日本 aka Japan then Booze アルコール then Tokyo ' 東京 ' you can add some katakana or hiragana like Nu-su NEWS ニュース

Headlines of all the major newspapers should give you news about Japan and an Alcohol ban and shutting Restaurants and other Business early.

This might translate as ....

Eating out is shut, less hours to eat under new rules "no time for beer or sa-ke drinks" business and stores and restaurants now under emergency declaration.
Cinemas are to be closed, because they MIGHT have seen who had some kind of Cough or Sneeze or Alcohol drink, Japan will go JihadKamikazeSharia. Tokyo theaters such as TOHO Cinemas and Cinema Sunshine will only stay open for short hours and close their doors early.
Tokyo blames Booze for Corona, so the J-Gov declared a fourth state of emergency as liquor distributors and restaurants angry re-acted
... the amount is also small. You can get a tiny a cooking sake, and piss weak low content alcohol and nonalcoholic beer stands out as something that can be sold?
The HD store has stopped offering alcoholic beverages at a total of 550 stores in Tokyo and Okinawa, it will close its doors early only staying open until 8 it might also open later on in the day and miss morning hours

:keyboardcoffee:

The thought is groups of people boozing in groups is leading to spread and if they stop serving alcohol at bars/restaurants it will curtail it. That's much less radical than "wine and booze is banned" and only happening because the J-gov is embarrassed by this massive 4th wave, no fan Olympics, and would rather focus on this than continue to admit their actions around the vaccine rollout are to blame for the current situation. Nothing to overreact over, just booze at home, it's cheaper and you can get the good stuff.

Even if it’s also -vintage- albeit low quality copypasta…

It’s nice and all to rage at the clouds like a teenager on xbox live…

So… about that…
Officially nowadays the vaccine after 2 jabs should not be expected to catch covid or transmit it but only avoid the worse effect on people vulnerable. And a 3rd jab would be needed against the new highly contagious variant… who like in most pandemics seems to be the least lethal.

So… the whole “yay vaccine, let’s party”… might no really be a super good idea…

If you have comorbidities, better to error on the safe side until this whole thing simmers down. I know a few people that were in bad shape, survived the 'rona v1.X but fear vaccination would put them at risk with little/no benefit since they already have anti-bodies...but they're not risking joining in the "reopening party" at the moment. US stance is a 3rd jab is not needed at this time but I don't blame them for continuing the hermit life until we see how this plays out.

Yes, Pfizer knows how to reel up the tally: 1 shot cost them how much to produce; 20 cents*? Selling price 15 Euros. Multiplied by, say, 3 to 4 billion patients times three shots and minus the price of that study that says you really should have three - every year - sounds like profit. 2008 all over again.

OTOH if they offer me a free third shot, I'll take it.
