its literally neverendless
korean illogicality is totally at another level while japanese are also not so logical, though.

The fallacy of composition arises when one infers that something is true of the whole from the fact that it is true of some part of the whole (or even of every proper part). For example: "This wheel is made of rubber, therefore the vehicle to which it is a part is also made of rubber." This is clearly fallacious, because vehicles are often made with a variety of parts, many of which may not be made of rubber.

The spenders in the top two countries – South Korea and Japan – give different amounts to government and nongovernmental organizations.. South Korea's government, for example, spent $52 million last year while nongovernmental spending totaled $10 million. In Japan, its government spent $6 million while nongovernmental spending was almost $33 million.

https://www.usnews.com/news/best-countr ... est-allies

according to korean fantasy, j-government has lobbied so much on a extraordinary scale. but in fact it was their self-projection as always. most of what korean insist about japan are self-projections for sure.

netouyos believe that if direct organized kidnappings by j-soldiers didnt exist, comfort women were not sex slaves but just professional whores. and they also believe that the asahis article is a very origin to spread the opinion that j-soldiers directly kidnapped them.

ps i changed my opinion about this issue and came to a conclusion that large part of them were actually sex slaves even if direct organized kidnapping by j-soldiers didnt exist while some of them were professional whores. so the apology by abe was invalid because he denied the fact that comfort women were sex slaves after the apology. its an empty apology.

우리의 조상은 곰이 마늘을 먹고 인간이 되었다는 너무나 비과학적인 형상으로 대한민국의 정체성을 말살시키는 어처구니없는 단군신화 왜곡 장면이다.

"Our ancestor is a ridiculous scene of Dangun myths distorting the identity of the Republic of Korea in a very unscientific form that a bear eats garlic and becomes a human."

"From the beginning of the Joseon Dynasty to the end of the Joseon Dynasty, Dangun was our national treasure, and we were descendants of Dangun. However, after 35 years of Japanese colonial rule, it is regrettable that 70 years after the Japanese imperialism has changed the history of the great Tangun into myth by using colonial historians to shorten the history of Korean people to Japanese history."
Image

this average korean high school teacher insists that the imperial japan distorted their mythology in the colonial period to make korea less classy. but it seems that the base of the insist is...

"Lee Byeung-do, a representative colonial historian, died, and he repented that Dangun was not a myth but a real person. The last Chosun governor Nobuyuki Abe predicted: "We are defeated, but Chosun is not a victory, I promise, that it will take a hundred years to get back to the glory of the old Joseon, Chosun was great and splendid, but Japan planted more fearful colonial education than gun and cannon in Chosun and I will return to Nobuyuki Abe again. a miracle happened!

"As a result of this genomic analysis in particular, the cherry blossoms of Jeju was confirmed to be the first generation (F1) natural hybrids born as a maternal and mother-budding female cedar reserve in Jeju.

In addition, as a result of comparative analysis with Japanese genome of Japanese yoshino coca grown in Japan Tokyo and Washington, USA, it was found that the cherry blossoms of Jeju and Japan's Yoshino cherry tree are distinctly different plants. Japan's Yoshino cherry tree is a mongrel made by artificial breeding hundreds of years ago, with Shidaredakura as the maternal line and Oshimazakura as the paternity line. Both Jeju's Oak Cherry and Japanese Yoshino cherry tree are hybrids, but they are different seeds."

Friend of mine was working at "innisfree" (cause the last thing you want in your products is innis) which markets the hell out of being from Jeju. They gave me a bunch of free stuff and it is great and smells wonderful. That insecure Korean nationalism always needing compare itself to Japan is such a waste when they could just promote what Korea has to offer. (a decent brand name wouldn't hurt either)

Wags once again enlightens me but that just makes it an even more bizzare brand name for a "nature brand" from Korea who's claim to fame is being from Jeju island. Reminds me of the "Florida" brand orange juice and snacks I saw in the US that were coming from China...but with much less to gain with the deceptive name. I've never heard of that isle before but it didn't help that my friend (Japanese, not Korean) told me the name was a mishmash of the founders name and freedom.

Have to agree with Taka here about Korean stupidity re their pretend history of being descendants of 'Dangun' whose name should be shortened to Dung. The problem with all this propaganda is that it can so easily be dismissed by historical facts that the Koreans themselves blabber about. It can also be dismissed by doing Y Chromosome tests on the Korean male population but that would never be permitted as those genetic tests reveal actual male ancestors that groups of people have in common.

Korea had the Three Kingdoms periods - and at least one of them was indisputably a Chinese kingdom. It's part of acknowledged history even by the fact-shy Koreans and it was called Shilla. But at the same time Koreans hotly dispute that Chinese kingdoms and a strong Chinese presence for hundreds of years equals Chinese ancestry in the Korean population. One of the other three was called Gogoryeo and it was located close to China.

Hmm, China always seems to be around in Korean history more than a thousand years ago - must be coincidence. I suppose it's just coincidence too that the ruling class called the Yangban prioritized Confucianism and Chinese culture.

Koreans call themselves the 'Great Han People' - too bad that's already a distinct term to describe the predominant ethnicity of China. There is no Korean 'race' or single ethnicity - they are a mix of Han Chinese, Central Asian tribes, floaters from Siberia and Mongolia, and as genetic studies have also proved, Tibetans. There were also significant links with India because of Buddhism and marriages of Indian women into Korean families.

All the King Sejong invented Hangeul, the Korean writing system, proclamations hide or honestly are ignorant of the fact that some scholars from countries where actual research is conducted and conclusions drawn instead of concluding from the start and propping up a claim with propaganda, have said Hangeul is probably derived from the Indian Sanskrit written language.

It must suck to be a Korean who admits the truth in one breath and then runs screaming from it and its logical conclusions in the other.

Hangeul

you should do know that that language was taught and became widespread in the peninsula in the j-colonial era.
before the j-colonial era, almost no korean used it.
but this fact is one of the last things korean are willing to acknowledge.

Star Russian footballers face jail after 'racist' assault
On Monday Krasnodar midfielder Mamaev and Zenit Saint Petersburg forward Kokorin attacked two Russian trade ministry officials in an upscale Moscow cafe.

Video footage showed one of the officials, Denis Pak, being hit with a chair while eating a meal. The players also reportedly hurled ethnic slurs at Pak, who is an ethnic Korean.

some chimpy russians seemd to still have grudges about the mongol invasion.

'racist' assault

why the fuck on earth does it need to be attachd the apostrophes? huh?

'Made by war criminals'

South Korea's foreign minister has intervened over a provincial proposal to apply stickers to some Japanese-made items in schools as "made by a Japanese firm responsible for war crimes".

South Korea and Japan are both democracies and U.S. allies faced with an increasingly assertive China and the long-running threat of nuclear-armed North Korea.

But their own ties have remained icy for years due to bitter disputes over history and territory stemming from Japan's 1910-45 colonial rule of the Korean peninsula, with forced labor and wartime sexual slavery key examples.

Now 27 members of the Gyeonggi provincial legislature have proposed ordering all schools in the region to put stickers on items such as cameras and photocopiers made by Japanese firms they believe are implicated in abuses.

They have put together a list of 284 companies, including household names like Toshiba, Mitsubishi and Hitachi.

"These Japanese companies caused Koreans serious harm during colonial rule," the label would read, "taking their lives and causing physical harm and financial damage by organizing forced labor, among other actions."

Gyeonggi surrounds Seoul and is one of the South's richest provinces, with a population of 12 million people -- almost a quarter of the national total.

Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha told the national assembly Thursday that the proposal needed to be "reviewed with caution" and "diplomatic relations should be taken into consideration".

Japan maintains that all historical compensation issues between the two nations were settled under the 1965 treaty that re-established diplomatic relations, which included a reparations package of about $800 million in grants and cheap loans.

Conservative South Korean lawmakers have criticized the proposal, with Kim Jeong-hwa, a spokeswoman for the minor opposition Bareunmirae party saying in a statement: "We urge the ruling party to differentiate the past and the present, as well as our diplomacy and our emotions."

She also accused the Moon administration of spreading anti-Japanese propaganda to "cover up its incompetence."

The Korea Herald newspaper condemned what it called "outmoded nationalism" in an editorial Friday, pointing out that the war ended more than 70 years ago and some companies had since changed hands.

"Their current employees can hardly be said to be related to the war or war crimes," it added.

The dovish South Korean President Moon Jae-in -- who brokered talks between Washington and Pyongyang -- has stressed the independence struggle against Japan is at the heart of national identity in both Koreas, while framing the South's right-wing as the descendants of pro-Japanese collaborators.

Earlier this month, he said: "The task of setting history right is what is needed to help our future generations stand tall."

The Gyeonggi educational department has come out against the sticker proposal, but the provincial assembly is due to discuss it next week.

More

One can only hope that the Koreans adopt these stickers, because it shows the whole world how crazy they have become. Jeez!

I've always been a big fan of Cornelius and the music is now the only thing I see as a positive here. Every day it's nothing but more of a shitshow.

Joke-yo Olympics 2021!

That being said, pretty disgusted to learn about Mr. Oyamada's childhood antics and how he bragged about them as an immature 25yo. 27 years later, I like to think he's grown up but I'm not exactly hopeful judging by his apology.

The company has been under fire since its chief executive wrote a message on its Japanese website in November last year apparently attacking a rival company that he said uses many Japanese TV personalities with Korean roots in its commercials.

Yoshiaki Yoshida, wrote the message in which he used a derogatory term to refer to ethnic Koreans and added, "DHC is a purely Japanese firm, including the TV personalities we use." In May, DHC deleted Yoshida's message from the Japanese website amid mounting criticism both in South Korea and Japan. The cosmetic maker entered the South Korean market in 2002.

‘Tearless’ VR project tells story of Korean comfort women
https://dailybruin.com/2021/09/26/tearl ... fort-women
'In her latest virtual reality project, “Tearless,” director and UCLA film professor Gina Kim continues to tell the story of Korean “comfort women” subjected to sexual violence at the hands of the United States military from the 1950s. Released at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month, the 12-minute film is the second in what Kim said she hopes will become a trilogy, with the first of the series, “Bloodless,” released in 2017. Kim said the titles of the films also refer to the irony of how the bodies of comfort women were exploited by feminist activists.
“The whole (concept) was wrong (and) flawed. Everything was flawed because (the activists) victimized (the comfort women) one more time by exploiting their image,” Kim said. “And ever since, I was obsessed over the issue of U.S. military camptowns and how to retell the story ethically without exploiting them to such a degree.”
According to Reuters, Korean comfort women were forced into sexual slavery during the Korean War. Thus, Kim said “Tearless” was born out of her desire to further portray the story of comfort women through a narrative that does not take advantage of the women’s experiences. She said she wanted to preserve the dignity of the victims, which proved difficult to achieve with traditional cinema as it often places a psychological distance between the audience and the material.
Instead, Kim said she landed on virtual reality as the medium that would best depict the horrors the Korean women suffered because it places the audience directly inside the scenes. She said she placed subtle props and the remains of an itinerary the women had to follow throughout the building the women were held in to imply what was happening in each room. '
