Fuck me, I'm getting worried. Matsuki is bravely keeping the post count going on fuckedgaijin while others disappear from view. We're all getting older but I'm not as old as a lot of you.
So where are Coligny, SamuraiJerk, Kurogane? - to name only three. I'm bloody well getting nervous here........

Coligny is French: Who knows what set him off. (The server logs show he visits nearly every week: He was lurking here just last Tuesday.)

SamuraiJerk got bored and "Last visited: Fri Jan 25, 2019 6:13 am" but last posted on Thu Nov 17, 2016.

Kurogane went back to the Real World. He briefly returned to Japan in 2018 for a ""Very Big and Very Secret Project but I guess that didn't pan out (or his Secret Project was wildly successful and he doesn't have time for us plebes).

It is interesting to look at the top 50 posters on the FG and see that most of them still frequently lurk here but they are too shy to post any more, saaaa.

Many of the FG can still be found on Twitter (I was banned, grr) with Mulboyne's rationale that Twitter gives a bigger audience while having tools to "curate" the feed. There must be other FG hiding incognito on Reddit but unlike Twitter, former FGs on Reddit do not self-identify and they fade in and out with ever changing user names.

Seems like you likely need higher powers to look at the member list. At least I can't. Apart from that, I think, FG is a nice place to chill out from the hustle and bustle of Twitter and Reddit and xChan, so those ominous top 50 are probably here to enjoy the peace and quiet, take their boots off, put their feet on the table and take a nap. Please do not disturb them.

I don't come back to FuckedGaijin enough. This list brought back some wonderful memories.
Most of my social media activity is now on Strava, then Twitter (where the only 2-3 people that interact with me kindly do so as a courtesy to meeting up on FG) and sometimes Instagram.
I can't think of anything witty or clever to post here and don't really pay much attention to news anymore.

I always use a VPN at public WiFi spots. However, twitter thinks prudent use of a VPN is "suspicious" and they subject me to multi-factor authentication. I AWAYS fail authentication because twitter demands I answer a SMS challenge and my android ketai had/has some sort of 2-byte character bug.

Steve Bildermann, the man who possibly saved my life. I had been trying to remember his name for a while. It was great looking at that list, and remembering the names of people that were in and out of your life. Still lurk from time to time, but trying not to get worked up about things like I used to. Too much negative energy used in the process. Also miss reading anything Coligny had to say. Would definitely make my day.

Was going through some really dark moments, really dark, and Steve connected me with a professional who was able to help me out. I know that he had his own dark times and that anybody he would recommend would be top notch.
He did all of this without ever meeting me, just a connection made on Fucked Gaijin. I will be ever grateful.

Latest street view and aerial shots of the bunker show no vehicles there (just some forlorn yellow traffic cones as a memory of his battles), and there is internet evidence of him using a different address nearby, but no evidence of Colignifique vehicles near there either.

Samurai Jerk's Facebook page is not a memorial page yet. So there's that. I really should shoot him an email one day.

I spotted Kurogane posting Kuroganal comments on a website of a newspaper in his home town a few years ago, but not seen much since.

We are just all getting broader interests and consequently our posts here are getting thinner and more spread out over time. It is still more active here than on MySpace.

Wish everybody thought that way. One of our friends here forgot that is one of the (very few actual) rules on FG, and has now gotten himself re-banned on the first day of his post-ban return.
