there are photos and film of guys dancing on rooftops in NewJersey just after the attacks on the WTC
sometimes i mock and joke rather than post boring cold hard facts

Where? I can't see a single picture. Just a couple of dodgy reports of anonymous reports by "a policeman" and similar. "A police officer" never apparently arrested anyone or made any formal report. Or has ever been interviewed.

Any who was able to watch tv back in 2001 saw. Take your revisionist history and stick it where the sun don't shine.

I didn't read the novels above but there have been quite a few undeniable instances of muslims celebrating the WTC attacks. It's pretty disgusting. That being said, I don't think those people represent all muslims. This is one scenario I find "name and shame" appropriate.

Evidence? You can't just keep making these claims without at least saying where and when so your facts can be checked.. There was apparently one bit of footage endlessly repeated of some Palestinians in the West Bank or Gaza strip celebrating. That is clearly reprehensible and in bad taste but if you had grown up in deprivation being periodically bombed with American hardware you might not be quite as moral about things American.
Wage Slave wrote:Also, gathering in Times Square to chant USA after the killing of Bid Laden was bad taste too. I have no brief for him but gathering to noisily and mindlessly celebrate a killing? Yes, it was justified but to celebrate?

Ehhhh are you really claiming people cheering the assassination of Bin Laden is comparable to people cheering 9/11?

Actually, only vaguely and I was living in that part of London at the time. I think that was about right though - it didn't deserve attention. Anyway, how does that tie in with "the moslems" dancing on the roof in New Jersey or Paris?Ehhhh are you really claiming people cheering the assassination of Bin Laden is comparable to people cheering 9/11?
I am not saying they are comparable. Yes, killing him was justified and the right thing to do but mindlessly celebrating any killing is bad taste and morally questionable. That doesn't stop people from doing it unfortunately.

Yeah, they were assholes, but that doesn't mean, you can just cold-bloodedly murder them at your leasure. What if Merkel thought, Trump was an asshole? Surely there would be some people dancing on the tables, if he got droned. But it is not, what even halfway reasonable people would do, it is just not right IMO.
Justice has to be served in a court of justice (not "justice" as in Saddam's case), which has actual jusrisdiction over the case.

Mainly kill his mouth off, so to speak? I am sure, Bin Laden would have had interesting stories to tell.

Although bin Laden initially denied any involvement, in 2004 he claimed responsibility for the attacks. Al-Qaeda and bin Laden cited U.S. support of Israel, the presence of U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia, and sanctions against Iraq as motives.
