I remember playing in a hockey tournament in Utah when I was 18...early morning game, toilets frozen over, not feeling the 5am sleepiness and I had a knot in one of my hamstrings. One of the coaches handed me some of that menthol muscle relief stuff. Having never used the stuff, I rubbed a overly generous amount into my leg without a care. As soon as some of it rubbed against my package, it burned....holy shit did it burn. Extremely frustrating that nothing I did could stop the pain. (Looked like I was dancing in pain the locker room) Everyone got a good laugh out of my pain but I was more awake and alert than snorting a bucket of smelling salts. The upside was I started the game smashing players left and right to the point that they were jumping out of my way rather than take the hit. I was just trying to play through the pain but when you're skating with "great balls of fire" you're going to dish out the pain.

...so yeah, unless you want to experience a painful, wank version of a hate fuck, menthol is not recommended on your junk.
