I see music more like a timestamp. When you are young, your life is set in time by school schedules, 1 year/10 month is a small lifetime. Music and movies appearing at these time follow the tempo or sometimes set it.
New Twillight movie… YAY !!!, next Hunger games, Harry Pothead… single from… Katy Perry, Lady Gaga… you’d go to party on weekend to these crap, not caring if crap or not, it’s just there.
