I just asked my Japanese hubby about this topic. From his point of view it doesn't matter what race I am - although there are some issues that are different (in regards to language, and visas and so on) which have an affect on our relationship, in fact he said "Boobs are boobs - I don't care what colour they are."

And his collection of porn mags featuring women of various races is a testimony to that I guess...

Think about this though. Police routinely patrol "Black" neighborhoods in a much higher percentage than Black neighborhoods. Blacks are more likely to be declared guilty and given harsher sentences for similar crimes than whites. Police routinely harass African Americans. There's racial profiling. I've been a victim of it myself. I was driving a really nice car that was my own and the police were following me. I made some turns to see if they were and they kept following me until I pulled over and then they drove past me.

Blacks are also less likely to make parole or accused falsely.

Some might say yeah yeah, heard it before, but it doesn't make it less true.
