Well, as soon as someone tries to hijack an airplane using only his well trained bare hands, something like that might happen in the US. Also, anyone can learn to kill with their bare hands in a matter of minutes, having the homicidal tendencies necessary to do that in combat is something that no training can give someone.

Actually I do Kung Fu. Most of the tounament was wu shu but they had a few traditional divisions which is where I had to compete. I won 1st place in the mens traditional long weapons division, using a Kwan Dao. (basically a 5' staff with 30" blade on the end)

For those of you that dont know the difference between wu shu and kung fu, wu shu is to kung fu what figure skating is to ice hockey. Wu shu is about being pretty and flashy, kung fu is mostly about being effective.

this is a picture of me with my weapon and my teacher.

Ahem, back to the role-playing:

For hanabi, I would replace "byatch" with "feminist with chip on shoulder"

For myself, I would remove the "kiss-ass" moniker (why the hell do you keep saying that?)

For bikkle, "sheepherder with Adobe skillz" (since a web admin is analogous to a sheepherder who moniters the conversations on a forum),

Mercutio: "Shaolin beer bonger"

Ketou and Tokyojoe: Still trying to figure them out myself

My agent is demanding I have a high-paying cameo...think of John Wayne as the Roman centurion in "The Greatest Story Ever Told" :eek2: getting Marlon Brandoesque pay like in the first Superman movie (only adjusted to today's rates) & a percentage of the gross :biggrin2: Gaijinzilla does not work for scale...I ALREADY do that in real life!! :cry2: :cry2: [/i]

That's good, too, but I was trying to work in that daijokki of beer that appears in your avatar.

By the way, Steve, wicked new avatar. *sigh* I go away for a week and everybody goes and changes their avatar on me. Does this mean I should change my avatar too?
