Aaaaaah.. That depends on what the opinion of 'know how it's done' is; while being there is MUCH better than watching J-baseball on TV, I tend to enjoy the 'highs and lows' feel of US baseball more. Fans are relaxed, pressure slowly builds, then an explosion of energy. J-fans seem never to be relaxed, and the constant chanting is annoying, therefore stressful to me; great at first. wears thin quick.. Plus, the stadiums and fields just plain SUCK!

Enjoyable, just not better IMO..

Haven't seen many games this year, but Sasaki's back.. The Swallows have a stadium that might be more central.. Although I won't watch a Giants game; get enough of them already.

Thanks for the offer Taro, but I got at least 2 years of school left (stupid immigration laws!) on getting my Bach.

And I hate American Baseball. Baseball's focus on a "perfect game" ie 27 strike-outs and at least 1 run for your own team is bad enough, but the only entertainment is the mascot...when he bothers to do anything. I liked what I saw there: Indoor stadium, crowd doing stuff on a non-playoff (from how thin the crowd was) game, mascot running around and dancing with the cheerleaders...oh yeah...THEY HAVE CHEERLEADERS! But seriously, I don't remember the last time I saw an american regular season game where the crowd was that into it.

I wonder how they are at golf tournaments...
