The pictured armored vehicles don't look all that different from the massive private-use Humvees I see on the roads of Detroit nowadays. White walls, big, shiny wheels, tinted windows and ground shaking sound systems.

I wouldn't mind mounting a few military offensives just to get these things off the street. In my vw I'm at eye level with their bumpers ...

Indeed, if our US troops and artillery et all ever left these islands, it would not take long for the world's largest standing army to move into the Imperial Palace. I'd estimate about 30 minutes or less. No , not very long at all.

I saw part of this on the news earlier today. Did they roll any nukes in that parade? I didn't see any. Shyeshye ni!

china is not really all that interested in offense. there is a reason they only built around 25 ICBMS that can hit the US with nukes. it is defensive and political, and that's pretty much it. The laughingstock of a missile defense shield is starting to make them consider more though. If the stupid thing works (it doesnt) or not, they have to build more now. gg US. no reason to attack militarily what you can control with economics. IIRC, china is pretty much number one reason why japan economy is improve.
