SADO, Niigata Prefecture-The ailing father of repatriated abductee Hitomi Soga met his two North Korea-born granddaughters for the first time Monday and promptly pronounced them to be cute.
It was not clear how long Soga, 45, and her daughters, Mika, 21, and Belinda, 19, will stay. Soga's 72-year-old father, Shigeru, has been hospitalized since Thursday.
