I've always thought a Gaijin Host Bar would make bank.. Some ideas I've tossed around.

1 - Throw in some English lessons. 30 minute, one on one.

2 - Approach an existing host club about a 'Gaijin theme' night.

3 - Have 'character' gaijin. Macho, sensitive, shy, etc... Like the 7 dwarfs.

A bit like the Village People you mean!!

We could even have a dress up like barbie....

I suppose it is a new twist to international friendship parties where people go to pet a gaijin.

Ya know this really isnt that different from the male dancing business here in the states....at least not the business at the straight clubs in Texas(the only part of the business i know about). I was a stripper for 2 years, even though it wasnt officially planned we all had our chracters that we would assume and invaribly it was beneficial to have each distict "character-type" at a show.

Also, all the stuff about being a good listener and flattering and caring is all dead-on the same. Going out shopping with the girls etc etc....unless you were one of the severely roided out meathead types and ultra good looking (even amongst that group) it was essential that you girl the girls "good head"

I'm in on the gaijin host bar idea. Awesome concept. The English-teaching thing would kind of suck though (BORING!), but if that's what's needed for foreplay, I could deal with it.

I used to work in a host club.

You have to be "charming", like a french waiter bowing with his left hand by his side and his right arm bent at a right angle at his waist. (they loved that).

If you feign an air of nobility, that gets them all the time, no matter what the age.

You also have to be able to hold your liquor.

VERY important.
