I hate NHK

Ok here it is, one of the best and most important baseball games of the year. The Yankees and Red Sox, if you don't like baseball I apologize. It was a great game, very close a real nail biter all the way. Top of the ninth the Red Sox are down, but they come back to score two runs and take the lead. Now going into the bottom of the 9th the most important part of the game, NHK decides to end their coverage and put on some stupid 15 minute drama. I know it happens all the time, but no wonder Japanese baseball is in such a poor state. That's it, I am telling my wife to stop paying the monthly charges. If they say anything to me, I will tell them I had all the money collectd and was just about to pay it, but at the last minute I decided to give the money to someone else, just like you robbed me of the end of my baseball game, pricks.

I feel your pain! I was watching the game too. Amazing that NHK didn't show it on BS-1, that way the whole game would have been shown. Hopefully this will be done tomorrow (Yankeees-Red Sox on BS1 that is)

I figure they were trying to get a larger audience to watch the game. By putting it on the regular channel. So that is why I'm even more surprised they would end it before the game ended. And yes I understand that there was a rain delay, but come on, you can't just stop in the middle of the 9th inning. It is insane.

Totally agree. Not showing a sports event to its conclusion is reprehensible. I never have nor will I ever pay a fucking cent to NHK by the way.

I just like answering the door when they come by. Give em a confused look and shrug. If they try to use English give em a confused look and shrug. They usually just sumimasen away.

That bottom-of-the-ninth cutaway from the game ranks up there with "Heidi" (anybody remember that one?).

BS-hi had the whole game. But that doesn't mean I'm ever going to pay the NHK man.

The Red Sox sure looked terrible today though.
