Japanese jailbird dies of inmate's blow

A Japanese national, Hajime Iwa Hori, in judicial detention for peddling narcotics, died today after being beaten up by his compatriot, another inmate, eight days ago in Nakkhu jail. Police said Hori, 44, was attacked by his friend, Umemoto Singo, on October 9 and died today at B&B hospital, Patan. Singo had hit Hori in the head with a dumbbell at 7:30 pm ....
